Monday saw a cash strapped Jose “Chille” DeCastro move the goal posts from his previously announced June 20, 2026, deadline for the launch of his YouVeGotBail.AI social media network by adding another five days to the deadline which is now June 25, 2026.
On Saturday, the diminutive YouTuber mocked critics and “trolls” by directly stating that he would meet his June 20 deadline and that they would have to watch and admire his success as he would be out on the streets celebrating his glorious return to First Amendment auditing on that date.
DeCastro’s delay essentially allows the failed Power Ranger and inventor of the Jock Sock to dilute expectations for his daily intake to meet his goal of $25,000.00. At the original 14-day limit, DeCastro would have to raise $1,785.71 a day to meet his goals.
With his current total sitting at $2,042.00 in just three days of activity, DeCastro’s time extension lowers daily intake expectations to $1,315.79 per day. A goal he managed to achieve on Monday but did not manage the previous two days. With roughly 16 days left in the campaign, DeCastro needs to average $1,434.88 in daily contributions to meet his new stated goal.
DeCastro has also lowered expectations for what the YouVeGotBail.AI service would now offer. As he stated on his Instagram, while the application would contact the emergency contact for subscribers who were arrested and would initiate contact with a bail bondsman, DeCastro moved away from previous claims of providing actual bond.
He had previously made claims that he could guarantee release from police custody both “within an hour” and “within 8 hours.” The YouTuber did not elaborate on why he had backed away from this claim and has yet to adequately state where the funding to provide bond would come from.
As of Monday, the only statement DeCastro had made about funding bond came Sunday night with his statement alluding to individual crowd sourcing efforts to pay bonds for subscribers. He also did not clarify what would happen when multiple subscribers needed bond at the same time or what would happen if an individual crowd sourcing campaign failed.
DeCastro added on Monday his need for six to twelve “bailers” who would serve “much like Reddit moderators” and need to pass a background check before being awarded the position. Despite DeCastro’s clear call to action, it was unclear of these would be paid positions, who would be eligible for the positions and how a handful of bailers would be able to handle the nationwide influx of users that DeCastro expected to populate the service.
Troublingly, DeCastro also claimed that the money involved in his crowd sourcing campaign would no longer completely go towards the funding of YouVeGotBail.AI. He again stated that part of the money would go towards the new business, however the rest of the money would go towards paying off his non-related expenses for his nine current lawsuits against various individuals.
Critics also pounced on DeCastro’s later claim that he actually needed an influx of $50,000.00 and that those who gave him money through the GoFundMe campaign would receive nothing in return for their contributions. However, those who invested $10,000.00 directly into “his corporation” would receive a return on their investment.
It was noted that he has again raised the price of the buy-in for investors back to $10,000.00 from his previously stated $5,000.00. Again, no reasoning was given for the change.
DeCastro managed to bring in $1,622.00 for the day, bringing his total for the first three days of his campaign to $2,042.00. He was followed by Roy “Pigs Under Pressure” Tripoloni’s campaign for James “James Freeman” Springer, which brought in $12.00 for the day.
No other campaigns that we follow saw new donations for Tuesday.
This is a developing news story.
