YouTuber and first amendment advocate SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes went live on his YouTube channel on Tuesday to announce that the prosecutor in Suffolk County, New York, subpoenaed Google and Meta about his financial payouts and subscriber information from the massive social media platforms.
The subpoenas come as part of the investigation into what transpired when Reyes was arrested in June for confronting Union Members at the Suffolk Police Benevolent Association building in Suffolk County, New York, and charged with third degree trespassing.
Reyes commented:
Uh Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney subsequently maliciously prosecuted me, dropped the charge to a non-crime trespass violation, but is still maliciously prosecuting me. So let’s take a look back really quickly at the trespass that I allegedly committed, according to Lou Seville, who lied in a sworn statement, and the District Attorney Ray Tierney’s office, who’s maliciously prosecuting me. For a trespass violation, keep in mind as you’re watching this, you need to refuse to leave the property.
While the trespass is a non-criminal violation, the New York Post reported that if convicted, Reyes could face up to 15 days in jail for the infraction.
It’s unclear what prosecutors are looking for by subpoenaing Reyes’ information from the social media giants.
On the issue, Reyes stated:

Billing information and account creation date. That’s the first material that they’re requesting. Two, financial transactions and or financial distribution.
Reyes added that his attorney, Jacob Uriel, filed a 25-page motion to squash the subpoenas. It is unclear if he was successful in doing so.
The New York based YouTuber has always fundraised off of his arrests and legal cases, twice having GoFundMe campaigns created and announcements of livestreams announcing his arrests before they happened.
It is unclear why authorities have not subpoenaed his GoFundMe information as his previous crowd sourcing campaigns were extremely lucrative for the YouTuber.
