A new emotionally draining week for Jose “Chille” DeCastro started on Sunday as the social media giant announced that he was in financial straits and that he was a month behind on his mini-van payment while he attempted to deal with life after YouTube monetization.
DeCastro was demonetized at the start of the month after missing the initial round of YouTube demonetization that had taken his DLZ Clips channel. It is widely speculated that DeCastro fell into a situation that hit other YouTubers such as Harvey Freebird, who were demonetized on one channel only to be demonetized on their secondary channel a month later as YouTube continued its crackdown.
His Sunday livestream featured news that he continued to ponder a lawsuit against YouTube over its decision to demonetize his channels, followed by an almost announcement that he was yet again suspended on Facebook, which added to his troubles:
I may take a few days here and try to decide exactly what we do as far as legal action. Um I’ve already have a a lawyer’s already contacted me about about some things kicking in on the way and I may take the next few days to draft up some documentation. Because what you guys are watching, you guys are witnessing, everybody can see what’s happening.
So I know I just don’t think that it’s right. So I’m gonna do everything I can. I’m gonna try to have a good stream with you guys today.
I’m just gonna do the best I can with what I’ve got right now. Good morning, everybody. Thanks for coming.
Happy Sunday morning, everybody. I’m glad everybody’s here. Super glad.
They removed my video from YouTube. Is that right? They removed the video?
They removed the video from ScrewTube The video goes against the community guidelines standard. The video I just did. The one I just did.
It didn’t Okay. And then you get and then now once again YouTube has suspended the account. Of course.
But of course, it’s pretty normal on on fake book fake book not not YouTube. I I I said YouTube I meant fake book Let’s see if it’ll Okay, I’m good. Let’s see what happens here.
Let’s go live on Facebook. See see if it’ll work anyway. It might not work.
It may work. It might not work. I don’t need to see why.
Just let me see if it’ll go live. That’s all I really care about. If it’ll go live, then we’ll go live Video stream is starting.
It’s gonna not sure which stream they just Susp they just I’m not sure why Facebook just suspended the account, but they just did just now. I I don’t know what video it was. I have no idea.
I couldn’t tell you, but I can just tell you Not sure. Is it going or not? Video has deleted.
Let me try it again here. Ah, can’t go live on Facebook. Apparently the video that I just showed of the cops abusing the elderly lady, apparently that got my Facebook account suspended.
So Okay. Okay. So I guess you can’t watch on Fake Book.
Fake book just says your account suspended. Do you agree with it? And it gives you four or five choices.
You say no, I don’t agree with it. And then it says Do you want to appeal this, you say yes, you want to appeal it, and then they say okay cool, your count suspended. That’s what Facebook does.
That’s what Facebook does That that that’s what they do. So we won’t be watching on Facebook, I guess. But the website is on and that’s what matters the most to me.
DeCastro had previously told his audience that he would not be paid the $14,000.00 he earned from YouTube in September, let alone the $800.00 he earned from super chats on the one show that aired in October before his demonetization.
This may prove to be untrue as all the other YouTube creators who were demonetized at the end of August received the money earned in August with one last payment from the social media giant in September.
DeCastro would go on to state that he needed help from his fans from their donations as he was a month behind on his mini-van payment. He also claimed that most of his money went to AI, employing his editors and paying for his on-going lawsuits.
Darcy, thank you. Darcy the blonde with a $25 DLZ dono. Just so you guys know, I spent $500 I spent 500 bucks to make this.
I don’t know how to do AI like this guy did. So I gave this guy 500 bucks to make this. And it’s still not completely done, but it’s pretty good.
It’s pretty good. I think we have to merge the two. I think we have to put Thomas Massey in with this is what I think we have to do.
Queasy, what’s going on, my friend? So that’s what you when you guys see dono. I’m either spending that money on court On lawyers, on on videos, on our employees.
I I’m not driving a Porsche. I drive a minivan Which by the way I’m a payment behind. Hey, fuck it Go hard or go home, bitches.
Go hard or go home. You get one life. Do you want to stand for principle?
Liberty? Do you want to stand for freedom? Or do you want to be bought off by these f<unk>ing oligarchs?
I’m not doing it. I’m not doing it. So I gave a guy 500 bucks for this video.
Yes, I did. And it’s not done yet, so I’m gonna have him do a couple more adjustments. Kevin Bernarski ‘s in the chat.
What’s up, Playboy? Yeah, I’m I’m gonna get this I’m gonna get this done. I’m gonna I’m gonna get into office.
I’m gonna change this shit. But it has to be a state and it has to be gov Governor of a state or president. It can’t be somebody who can take orders.
DeCastro had multiple updates in his on-going lawsuits last week.
In Ironton, Ohio, where DeCastro has an outstanding warrant for fleeing from charges in 2022, he filed a motion to recall his warrant from the incident last Monday, to set a pretrial conference and set a case management schedule. He is also demanding a jury trial and discovery.
It was followed by the announcement on Tuesday that he had been granted a hearing on November 18, 2026, where he will be allowed to appear virtually.
In one of his multiple cases against the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, DeCastro was granted an extension to serve Judge Ann Zimmerman and Judge Michelle Leavitt by October 16.
The failed Power Ranger was seeking the delay as his publication of a notice to Zimmerman in a local newspaper was not due to be completed until the beginning of the week.
In his lawsuit against the LVMPD for his treatment while in the Clark County Detention Center in 2024, DeCastro is asking for an extension of 60 days to serve the defendants in the case.
DeCastro blamed an unspecified lawyer who he had reportedly hired to handle the lawsuit who failed to file an appearance. The YouTuber had previously used this excuse to obtain other extensions, and likely refers to attorney Michael Mee, who filed for an extension to file the opening statement for DeCastro’s appeal of his February trial loss to the LVMPD by blaming lack of air conditioning in his office.
DeCastro is expected to be granted that extension without incident.
Special thanks to PDOCs of the thepublicdocuments.com for providing the documents featured in this news also.
Also, a special shout out to Discord user Tomatoes for his diligent reporting on DeCastro’s extended livestreams.
