Those in the United States who follow long time YouTuber Dave “Dr. Dave” Coulter’s Debunker of Frauditors or Frauditor Terminator channels got a surprise on Tuesday as the channels and content from the channels have at least temporarily been blocked from viewing in the U.S. due to a court order presented to YouTube by fellow YouTuber Audit Them.
Audit Them and Dr. Dave have had a long-standing dispute dating back several years, with Dr. Dave using a racially insensitive term for Audit Them, doxing his location and his real name. Audit Them has allegedly made several police reports against Dr. Dave, including a new allegation by Dr. Dave that Audit Them “swatted” him as he was on the way to a hospital over the weekend.
The Chicago area YouTuber known as Audit Them had previously taken out a “stalking no contact order” against Dr. Dave in the State of Illinois which was issued in March and currently has a two-year a two-year limit.
On a livestream posted to his channel last month, Audit Them indicated that Dr. Dave has violated the no contact order and that police needed to take further legal action against him.
According to Dr. Dave on a Tuesday livestream held on his Hall of Shame channel, which was not impacted by the ban, Audit Them got a court order demanding YouTube remove any videos about Audit Them on Dr. Dave’s Debunker of Frauditors and Frauditor Terminator channels.
Instead of removing the videos, YouTube apparently made the two channels inaccessible by those in the United States. Currently, previous direct links to the videos featured on both channels still work and several months of those links can be found in our Auditing Reaction Videos channel on our ReallyCoolNewsWire Discord server.
On the same livestream, Dr. Dave bragged that only 48% of his revenue from either channel was United States based and that he still could broadcast on both his newly monetized Facebook page and on his Hall of Shame channel as neither were included in the court order.
While he said he would need to sell some of his firearms to fund legal representation, he also announced that he would be opening a GoFundMe account to help with his legal defense.
Dr. Dave posted his latest account of the current situation on his GoFundMe page, which was opened Wednesday morning:
“My name is David Coulter. I am a digital creator and operate multiple social media platforms. I am writing to share a serious situation regarding my YouTube channel and to seek your support. As you may or may not know, I operate a channel focused on satirical commentary and criticism of First Amendment Auditors and similar groups. Despite having posted nearly 10,000 videos without issue, I am currently being targeted by an individual who has filed a protective order against me.
Furthermore, on April 27, this individual orchestrated a “swatting” incident at a local hospital. He falsely reported to emergency services that I was armed and dangerous, leading to my detention by hospital police and a search of my person and vehicle.
Lastly, the individual in question has presented a court-appointed order of protection to YouTube, resulting in both of my channels becoming unavailable for viewing in the United States. This action has effectively eliminated my ability to earn an income.
I have consulted an attorney to address these false claims and stop this harassment. The legal fees are $3,000 upfront, with an additional $1,000 required if a courtroom appearance is necessary.
Thank you for your time and support.”
Since the campaign was not live on Tuesday, it saw no results in the daily race for the crowd sourcing crown. Jonathan “Frauditor Troll” Hudon-Huneault’s Help us Fight this anti-free speech retaliation lawsuit won Tuesday with $3 in new value due to exchange rate changes between CAD and USD.
Wednesday saw Dr. Dave’s campaign pull in $1,342.00 in early donations to win the day handily. Zachary “Liberty Troll” Kueker placed second with $5.00 in new donations to his Stand with Liberty Against Unjust Charges, while Hudon-Huneault’s campaign lost $17.00 in value due to exchange rate changes.
No other campaigns that we follow saw new donations for either day.
We will continue to follow Dr. Dave’s comments on his legal situation as they happen.
This is a breaking news story.
