Tuesday was a mixed day for Jose “Chille” DeCastro as he personally celebrated a questionable claim, got a small victory in his lawsuit against two Nevada judges, saw action in a friend’s pending trial in Oklahoma, then failed to meet expectations for his YouVeGotBail.AI crowd sourcing campaign for the day.
Starting with his congratulations… to himself. DeCastro posted a congratulatory message on his YouTube channel’s community page celebrating the questionable claim that he made “2k in 24 hours.”
He posted:
We $2000.00 in to our goal of $25,000 — We WILL get to the $25,000. We Don’t Stop! And, we never will! If you’ve ever learned anything from me or hung out with me for hours and hours on stream, or I sent you a free Trifold or Cop cards when you didn’t ahve the dough — IF you can —- $5-10 If there are enough five bucks — works! LFG!
I’m stoked we are at 2K in 24 hours! Love it! Thank You. Please donate!

We Don’t Stop!
We record the previous day’s “take” as the early morning total for the next day. The amount of money raised from 3AM ET on Saturday to 3AM ET on Sunday, for example, is recorded as Sunday’s take.
DeCastro started his campaign on Saturday, where he brought in $250.00 for the initial 24-hour period. This was recorded as Sunday’s take. For Sunday, he brought in $170.00, making his total $420.00 for the first 48-hour period, again. which we record as the take for Monday.
On Monday, through the power of a $1,000.00 donation, he upped his game and brought in $1,622.00 for the 24-hour period, and a total of $2,042.00 for the 72-hour period. This was recorded as Tuesday’s “take.”
While impressive, the $1,622.00 is not “close to $2,000.00” and his impressive take did not carry over for the next 24 hours. From Tuesday at 3AM ET to 3AM ET on Wednesday, his “take” was $127.00. A significant step down, bringing his overall take for the 96-hour period to $2,169.00.
He won the day in our crowdsourcing race, with the campaign for the First Amendment Protection Agency placing second with a $25.00 take. The campaign for James “James Freeman” Springer only bringing in $17.00 and the campaign for Angel “Kansas City Accountability” Moses brought in $10.00 for the day.
However, even though he won the race for the fourth day in a row, DeCastro has a set finish line of June 25, 2026. With 15 days to go in his self-appointed deadline, he must make an average of $1,522.07 a day to make his goal.
DeCastro did not go live on Tuesday, even as he got a minor win in his on-going lawsuit against two Nevada judges and nearly everyone involved in his 2024 conviction for obstructing a police officer and interfering in a traffic stop and his acquittal of the same charges.
Magistrate judge Brenda Weksler wrote:
It is ORDERED that Plaintiffs’ motion (ECF No. 32) is GRANTED in part and DENIED in part.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Plaintiff must attempt to serve the summons and operative complaint on Defendant Leavitt by email at the email address located by his private investigator.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Plaintiff must publish the summons as to Defendant Zimmerman and operative complaint in the Las Vegas Review Journal at least once a week for a period of four consecutive weeks. Service will be deemed complete four weeks from the date of the first publication.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Plaintiff must send a copy of the summons and operative complaint by certified mail to the last-known addresses of both Defendant Zimmerman and Leavitt.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Plaintiff will have until August 7, 2026, to effect service of the summonses and operative complaint on Defendants Zimmerman and Leavitt.
DeCastro’s influence may have also been felt in the case of Oklahoma v. Heather Dawn Chandler. Chandler is the woman that DeCastro was visiting in Oklahoma last year when he picked up charges of molesting three police vehicles.
Chandler’s public defender recently quit the case, and Chandler is moving forward as a Pro Se defendant. In her first handful of filings since the change, Chandler has mimicked DeCastro’s recent failed strategy in his own defense against his charges in Oklahoma by filing for a Franks hearing to review the charges against her.
She is also seeking to suppress all of the evidence in her DUI arrest as part of the challenge as she claims that the officer who pulled her over told her she was being stopped for one set of circumstances but reported another in his police report.
Chandler is set to go to trial in July, while is due in court later today for a felony docket call. DeCastro is not expected to attend today’s hearing due to his outstanding warrant in Oklahoma due to the misdemeanor vehicle molestation charges.
This is a breaking news story.
