After ending her mammoth post-conviction livestream revenge tour with livestreamed visits to nearly every important setting in her career as a part time advocate for the homeless, Regan Benson has returned to her YouTube community page to elaborate on a controversy she created from a simple Facebook exchange.
In the past week, Benson had a number of negative exchanges with a Facebook friend who happens to be the father of a current Denver police officer who was once included in a lawsuit that she settled against the city of Denver.
Somehow Benson has equated her negative exchanges into an all-out assault on the son, who has yet to even comment on Benson’s accusations against him. Her actions included a complaint against the officer disguised as an information inquiry filed last Saturday.

For those of you that have followed this bit of public information on the John Anderson/ Sgt. Jason Anderson saga…
I don’t know why this former cop of the Castle Rock, Co PD keeps being so accusatory about the state of my mental health. Some pretty wild claims are being made about me by John Anderson, former Castle Rock PD Commander and former candidate for Douglas County, CO Sheriff.
He’s claiming I’m a criminal and won’t accept responsibility. He’s claiming that I’m very mentally ill and unstable.
It ALMOST feels like Sgt Jason Anderson of DPD D4 is using his position as a Denver Police Officer, to retaliate against me, once again for speech he doesn’t approve of.
I mean like, why would Jasons dad, John, accuse me of harassing his son, with public information, redress of my government and an official records request?
I submitted a hand written note at DPD D4 (all on video of course and very public right here on my very own channel) along with a request for some public information on this little helicopter ride. Now, John, well he has that note & records request and he’s posting it on social media claiming I wrote his son a harassing note at his workplace.
I’m confused.
Now, who would have given that note to John Anderson, in their official capacity as a police officer?
No one would be abusing their position, right?
Could it be his son? Sgt Jason Anderson, of the Denver PD? Could it have been another officer? Could it have been a Lt.? Could it have been Commander Qualley of DPD D4?
I don’t know, because now John Anderson has told me he no longer has to put up with my mental illness because he’s a retired cop and has blocked me on Facebook, where the discussion is public, for all to see.
Weird.
Oh and never mind that Jason Anderson was a named defendant in a lawsuit where in the city opted to instead settle that lawsuit v. put Jason Anderson on the stand to attempt to prove his innocence. All by way of his very own documented participation in DIRECTLY violating my 1A rights by BANNING ME FROM PUBLIC MEETINGS.
Why do these cops have such disdain for me?
It feels scary.
