Update: Reyes posted the following on Merb’s comments section: “As far as the federal charges, the AUA handling the case reached out to me via email yesterday and wants to resolve the matter as soon as possible. She offered a $250 fine no plea or admission of guilt. Case ends as soon as I pay $250 fine via mail – No appearance. I agree with your statements in this video though it’s not worth it. Stay off the base and do research. I get it. Appreciate your insight as always.”
Wednesday was not a good day for SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes as the company he is paid to represent, Attorney Shield, lost a fraud lawsuit to former First Amendment Auditor Marc Stout and Reyes himself may be facing up to a year and a half in federal prison for charges of illegally entering and photographing a military base.
Starting with the Stout case; Reyes and Dale “Lackluster” Heller have been two spokespersons for the Attorney Shield product. Attorney Shield is a problem that claims that it will connect a person involved in a traffic stop (or any other encounter with the police) to a lawyer in their area who will represent you in the interaction with police.
Stout has a long history of suing Reyes, including a $12,000,000.00 defamation suit that largely went nowhere in 2023 into 2024. Stout purchased the lowest membership package that Attorney Shield had to offer with the idea that he would prove that Attorney Shield was misleading customers about its services.
At some point, Attorney Shield contacted Stout with the opportunity to invest in its business, and he paid $100.00 for a small number of shares, again, based on the assertations that Attorney Shield was a successful product.
Stout later sued in Federal court in Delaware, alleging fraud as he claimed that the people purported to be “lawyers in your area” were a mix of out of state attorneys and call center workers pretending to be attorneys.
That lawsuit was dismissed in 2025 as the court could not find that the damages that Stout could show totaled the minimum of $75,000.00 that a federal lawsuit requires in damages.
Stout sued again, this time in Virginia state level District Court. According to Stout, representatives of Attorney Suit filed for a change of venue without notifying him. The company, which purportedly represents hundreds of lawyers, failed to send a representative to a June 15 hearing.
Stout asked for a default judgment and was granted the judgment, with the Judge awarding him $1,000.00 for each of his four charges against Attorney Shield; a grand total of $4,000.00.
Attorney Shield has until June 25, 2026, to appeal the decision.
While Reyes was not personally involved in the lawsuit, Stout also had announced that Reyes was facing federal criminal charges over an incident in February at Joint Base Lewis – McChord in Washington State.
Reyes’s video of the incident indicated that he “accidentally wandered” onto a military base during a planned audit of the facility. Reyes started the video of the incident with an introduction that was interrupted by someone screaming “no filming.”
Instead of answering the yell, he walked forward and past the demarcation point, entering the base itself. The YouTuber would claim that he was just following a sidewalk, while continuing to walk towards the security checkpoint.
A security guard explained that he could not film a military base access point by law. Reyes claimed that he could film from a public sidewalk and blamed the guard and the initial worker yelling at him for his advancement towards the base.
Military Police were called and Reyes gave his identification upon request after some banter. As the video wrapped up, Reyes admitted that he was in the wrong and that he had the wrong information about where the base property started. He essentially admitted his crime and has left the video up on his channel since posting it in March.
Reyes was issued two citations on June 9, 2026, and has been charged with:
Entering Military/Naval/Coast Guard property (E2736331)
Photographing and sketching defense installations (E2341021)
The first charge carries an unspecified fine and up to six months in federal prison. The second charge also carries an unspecified fine and up to a year in federal prison.
Reyes is scheduled to appear in Western Washington Federal District Court on June 24, 2026.
Details of the citations remain limited to observers in this case.
All was not bad for Reyes, however, as he won Thursday’s crowd funding race with a $50.00 donation to his Detained for MY Rights – Continuing the Fight for OUR Rights campaign.
No other campaigns that we follow saw new donations for Thursday.
We will continue to monitor Stout’s lawsuit and Reyes’s charges and provide updates as we receive them.
