Social media influencer, bicycling enthusiast, convicted felon and appreciator of Keanu Reeves movies, Lane Myers addressed his audience one last time from the Pima County Adult Correction Facility on Tuesday before he was transferred to the Arizona Prison system where he’ll be spending the next two to two-and-a-half years.

Myers continued to attack his victim in the statement, claiming that he was being punished for actions of others and promising that the videos he made attacking her will be still available on the website and YouTube channel created by Josh “This is a Public Service” Gray while a “no contact” order was in place between the two men.

The self-proclaimed relative of movie character “John Wick” took issue with a recently released addendum filed by his probation officer as requested by Judge D. Douglas Metcalf, who was in the process of sentencing Myers after finding him guilty of multiple probation violations.

That addendum reads:

The defendant is a 43-year-old male appearing before the Court for disposition on a Petition to Revoke Probation. The defendant violated the conditions of his probation by posting social media videos discussing the case and referencing the victim. Despite clear instructions provided to the defendant, along with the probation department’s efforts to have all such content removed, numerous videos reappeared post sentencing on various social media platforms.

Regarding disposition, the defendant has demonstrated a continued inability to comply with Court-imposed conditions. Despite clear directives and efforts by the probation department to have all case-related social media content removed, the defendant persisted in posting videos that discuss the case and reference the victim. His ongoing behavior includes harassment and disparagement of the victim and her husband, indicating a willful disregard for the boundaries established by the Court.

Based on these continued violations, the defendant’s conduct raises significant concern regarding his suitability for ongoing community supervision. The probation department has utilized reasonable interventions without achieving compliance. The defendant’s repeated misuse of social media to target involved parties suggests an increased risk to the community and a lack of amenability to supervision. At this time, he appears to be an inappropriate candidate for continued community supervision, and a heightened level of accountability may be warranted.

The part time HVAC repairman would go address this in part, claiming:

I hope that uh throughout this I’ve really been able to uh show that, you know, I’m despite them accusing me of being violent or going after her kids and all this bullshit, it’s all a lie. I’m not violent based on their argument then then they then anybody could be put in prison because they have the potential to be violent. Every single person has the potential to be violent.

But if they’ve never demonstrated a history of violence, that doesn’t make ’em violent. any more so than grandma driving her car down the street could run into a group of people and then now grandma’s violent. Um I think that my whole life has been transparent all over the internet.

My family history, my life story. I feel like all my criminal record is out there. There’s no history of violence So Iran, you really know that a nonviolent First Amendment activist advocate is now going to prison for speech the state and the court decided there’s no other solution to this than breaking up my family, taking away from the home I’ve created with my girlfriend, who I called my wife.

Um Taking away from my dogs, taking away from bike riding, my friends, my family, my elderly parents, my sister with young children, a stable environment. But it all is for a good cause, right? If you believe them, I’m gonna go to prison and everything’s gonna be great.

Myers would go on to address life in prison and the possibility of new charges against him:

I’m gonna go to prison and I’m gonna uh my life’s gonna get better. ‘Cause I’m gonna lose all that stuff but then I’ll be sitting in prison in a cage with a bunch of people who have also been accused of crimes. And somehow that’s going to make my life better.

Somehow getting out of prison, homeless and broke is going to be better for me than any other solution they could have came up with Somehow prison is such a good solution that eight out of ten people, eighty percent of people, eight out of ten that go to prison go back. So if prison was the place to get better, why do eight out of ten people that go there fail? So it truly shows that this is never about making Lane Myers a better person.

It’s the Arizona Department of Corrections, not rehabilitation. They’ve removed the word rehabilitation. for from all those references to prison systems.

There’s no rehabilitation, it’s just housing. It’s like cattle. Human trafficking, I’m now become I’m no longer a person, I’m a number.

But remember You can’t break Bokutu. And as David Goggins will remind you after this little speech when uh it’s played along with it You have to keep attacking. You cannot let the enemy know that you’re going away.

And make it clear. I will be attacking from in legal motions from the day I get to court or the day I get to prison, I’ll be flooding the court with every legal remedy possible. I did not plead guilty this time, so I have plenty of legal options for appeal available And that’s where I’m appealing to the public.

The sometime YouTuber would go on to ask for continued financial help from his fans:

Please don’t abandon me. If you believe in this cause, don’t abandon me I’m gonna need emotional support. I’m gonna need financial support.

I do still have a dog. Uh that’s needs to be taken care of and and he can remain at in his house where he’s been living for the last six years with it my with his his uh with the other dog. They’re a bonded pair and I don’t want to break that up.

But I have to rec I have to keep financially supporting my dog and some of my bills that I had committed to long term. So I am gonna ask the public to help me financially throughout these throughout the next two years. Any little bit counts.

It’s a tough situation to be in. It’s not one I envisioned and it’s not one that I would intentionally want to be in. There is still a human and animals that I was responsible for that I’m now able no longer able to take care of.

And so I can only do so much. You cannot work in prison to the extent where you make a bunch of money. There are jobs in prison but I don’t think I’ll be able to make more than probably twenty bucks a month.

And I know money out there is tight for everybody. I just know that if I can maintain hope. The money represents more than money.

It represents hope. It represents the fact that my dog could stay in a stable my dog is uh eleven years old and I’m hoping to one I’m hoping to be able to pet my dog one time before he passes away One more time, you know. I’m hoping that we can get him through these next two years at at his old age, just so that I can be there to put him to rest.

He gave me ten years of royal service. He’s in great shape still. I believe that if we can keep him stable and provided for Uh I can uh fulfill my dream of putting him of being there for him and his it in the rest of his days.

Myers’ GiveSendGo campaign for his legal defense remained silent on Tuesday.

YouTuber SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes won the day with $100.00 donations towards his Detained for MY Rights – Continuing the Fight for OUR Rights fund.

Second place was a tie between Angel “Kansas City Accountability” moses and Central Tyrant Investigations, who both brought in $20.00 to their respective GoFundMe accounts.

Myers has 13 days left to file an appeal of the revocation of his probation.

He previously took a plea deal where he gave up his right to appeal his conviction of two low level felonies in exchange for the deal. Myers is now claiming that the plea deal along with conditions of his probation were “unconstitutional.”

No new legal action has been filed by Myers as of press time.

[Full disclosure: Mr. Myers has both threatened to sue and/or to file an injunction against ReallyCoolNews.
