Jailed bicycle enthusiast, self-proclaimed modern Marthin Luther King Jr., social media influencer and zippy dresser Lane Myers communicated with his fans from the Pima County Adult Detention Center in which he promised absolute victory in his eventual appeal of either his current conviction of stalking and harassment or of his pending probation violation.
In a new audio address on Andrea “Illuminate the Dark” Dotson’s YouTube channel, Myers claimed that he gained access to the jail’s law library and that a recent finding by Arizona’s Court of Appeals for district one would guarantee his victory in said appeal.
Myers stated:
Hey uh free people of the of the earth. This is Lane Myers from the dungeon in North Korea where I was uh given access to to freedom and the law library and and my reading shows me that on August twenty fourth, twenty twenty six, the Arizona Court of Appeals that for Division One issued a published opinion in the state v s V V Campo C A M P O case where they ruled that YouTube and probation mix.
You cannot take away somebody’s YouTube whether they’re a sex offender, I’m not a sex offender, the case involves just that you see how the only cases that where they make case law involve sex offenders because other cases wouldn’t even so take your stupid ass Steve V. Kessler case And now add this state v campo.
And I’m telling you right now, free people the internet, if you can just keep me supported, which I appreciate everybody’s donations and I appreciate all the uh work people are doing out there. I don’t want to name everybody individually on the jail phone and get their names out there and dox them. But if you’ve donated, including certain donors who went way above and beyond, I appreciate that.
Time is our friend. We are going to win our appeal. There’s nothing these people can do now at this point. The Judge Metcalf failed to articulate the reason of Nexus. Article 2, Section 6 is golden We will not lose this appeal.
Please just help me fight to make more case law. Just like they made case law here, we’re gonna have state versus Myers and we’re gonna have more case law.
It just takes time. So please help me buy time. And I appreciate everything. And go ahead and read State V Campo 2026 Arizona Appeals and you’ll know what’s coming. You’ll know that I’ve been on the right side of the law this whole time and you know that I’m gonna walk out of this jail victorious.

It’s unclear what Myers was referring to as “proving” his case for his probable appeal as State v. Campo had little to do with Myers’ current charges. While both cases involve restrictions on first amendment related issues due to probation conditions, there’s little clear connection between the cases.
The Court in the Campo case found that Campo had the right to film his probation officers outside of Court Owned spaces and that an order to take down YouTube videos that met that specific criteria was in error.
Myers is seeking to overturn probation conditions that were assigned after Myers agreed to a plea deal. He did not attempt to appeal those probation conditions during the time frame to do so and only filed to modify his probation conditions after 10 months of observing the conditions had passed.
The jailed YouTuber is fighting for the ability to name his victim in social media posts, including YouTube videos. He had been previously ordered to remove YouTube videos that violated these conditions.
To our untrained legal minds, it would be a stretch to pair the two together as definitive proof of Myers’ latest legal maneuvering, but we will leave commentary for trained experts.
As far as Myers’ thanks about the outpouring of support for his GiveSendGo donations, the sometime YouTuber has gone over a week without a donation to his GiveSendGo campaign.
The market itself was in goose egg territory for Monday, with no campaigns that we follow bringing in donations for the day.
Myers’ next court date in his ongoing probation revocation hearing is scheduled for September 14, 2026.
