The final word by social media influencer, journalist, activist, modern day Martin Luther King Jr. and YouTuber Lane Myers before Tuesday’s evidentiary hearing for the petition to revoked his bond came in the form of a third jailhouse interview with YouTuber Zachary “Liberty Troll” Kueker, in which Myers made his final attack on the prosecution and his victim before Tuesday’s hearing.
Myers started the Monday with bad news about his supporter, Andrea “Illuminate the Dark” Dotson, who was found guilty of one of the two crimes she went on trial for last week in Missouri.
In a verdict announced on Monday, Dotson was acquitted of a charge of Resisting a Lawful Detention and convicted of a count of misdemeanor Assault in the Fourth Degree Against a Special Victim.
A special victim, in this case was defined as a law enforcement official and the charge carries a punishment of up to one year in county jail and up to $2,000.00 in fines. Dotson’s sentencing hearing will be held on September 2, 2026.
Dotson has served as Myers’ unofficial spokesperson for the last few months, and has supposedly been responsible for lining up interviews for Myers, arranging donations to his jail books and carrying his message to the public.
The modern day Martin Luther King Jr. received a second bit of bad news for the day thatt was announced by Kueker in a post interview discussion with Wolverine Transparency. Kueker announced that Myers’ wife was leaving him, which Myers had apparently announced in a previous interview with Kueker.
Kueker reported:
Corrupt government officials want to rip fathers away from from their families. It’s it’s sad. What they’re doing to Lane Myers. And since Lane has been in jail this this time around on no bond, I guess his wife is leaving him too. He said that on the last on the last. Wow, he’s losing his wife. He said that on last interview and you know I I feel for him, but you know, if they’re gonna do it at some point, they were just gonna do it anyway, you know.
Myers made no mention of the breakup in the interview, instead focusing his attacks on his victim and the prosecution in the case.
The bicycle enthusiast started with a quick critique of the prosecution and an omission he felt Kueker made in their last interview:
Because I’m very, very, very, very disappointed. I’d like to let the victim the alleged victim and uh the the prosecutors prosecutors and all them people the people the people you know Actually the anti-people. We are the people. They’re the anti-people. The anti people, then I’m very, very disappointed that you didn’t include my uh becoming Lane Wick speaking. I had that written out, I sat there for hours and prepared that speaking. Um just waiting for it to be played in front of Judge Metcalf But for some reason they got scared and didn’t want to play that one. Could you please make sure that is it in included in this at some point later when you do yours?
Myers seemed reassured when Kueker assured him that his fanfic portraying himself as a “John Wick” related character then went on to promise that he would be making new filings before the hearing.
I just been sick. Uh oh, I mean filings with the court. They’ll you know, I wanna give it doesn’t matter, either you’ll see. I’m filing some motifs right before the hearing starts. Um motion to clarify the conditions of probation and another motion to modify. That I hand wrote in jail with a pencil that is like half the size of a normal pencil. Am I a law office of the GL C. Mm-hmm. It doesn’t matter if I tell you because it’s not really the states. It’s more for the like those motions are more directed towards the judge than the state.
When Myers was asked about the possibility of spending the rest of his life in jail, he brought up a situation where he allegedly escaped from prison as a child:
Good luck. I wonder if they know that I escaped from prison once When I was fourteen. I I swear to God, so when I was fourteen years old, I and this is all fucking public record in my juvenile. I don’t know if that’s public, but when I was fourteen I was sent to maximum security juvenile prison at Saginaw, Michigan and I escaped from Maximum Security Juvenile Prison and I stole the uh officer’s gun the DO Department of Corrections van and the gas card and I went on the run for nine days at 14 in the Department of Corrections van across northern Michigan hiding out in the woods
Myers eventually reflect on his accomplishments as he shared his thoughts on his up-coming hearing:
I feel like even if I lose tomorrow we all win though because it’s like, think about it. A dude on YouTube with 14,000 subscribers manage to get the entire government of Arizona to just do things they don’t they do to like that they don’t even do to unalivers or, you know Men that can’t keep their hands to themselves and stuff like that. They’re going above and beyond anything they’ve ever done to those kind of people for a guy on YouTube.
So I think like even if we’ve lost even if I lose tomorrow I won because it’s like imagine being that guy who found a way on his little channel to get in the heads of the entire government of the state of Arizona. Prosecutors, police officers, uh judges, you know what I mean? Like they just don’t do this to people.
Unless they’re like Jeffrey Dahmer’s serial killers. And they’re and they’re running the whole playbook on me. Did he play five minutes? Alright, alright. Yeah, so uh do you get what I’m saying though, troll? Yeah. I feel like Definitely. I’m I feel like, you know, it’s humbling to know that they they care so much about me that they’re using the entire power of the entire government. to stop little old me, an autistic dude, uh, and his mom’s basement, you know?
The jailed social media influencer received good news on the crowd sourcing campaign front as his GiveSendGo campaign took Tuesday’s title with $131.00 in new donations. It was followed by our own Ongoing Expenses campaign, which took in $30.00 and Aidan “Turtleboy” Kearney’s Help Turtleboy defend Free Speech campaign that took in $20.00.
No other campaigns that we follow received donations for Tuesday.
