[Full disclosure: “Attorney” Lane Myers, on behalf of his client Lane Myers, has threatened ReallyCoolNews with a lawsuit and/or an injunction in order to prevent coverage of Mr. Lane Myers, YouTube personality, journalist and advocate for Lane Myers. Mr. Myers has accused ReallyCoolNews of participating in a vast conspiracy that is solely responsible for his recent legal problems and has promised negative action towards the publication.]
YouTuber, dancer, technology enthusiast, Discord participant, mathematician, self-proclaimed “attorney,” journalist, activist, karaoke singer, fashionable dresser, 4:20 observer, plaintiff, defendant, genius, bicycle enthusiast and gardening expert Lane Myers was granted a hearing on his motion to modify his probation conditions which has been set for July 24, 2026.
Myers filed to change the conditions of his parole earlier this month, claiming that the conditions were unfair and possibly unconstitutional. He had agreed to the conditions as part of a plea deal as part of his conviction last year for stalking the wife of a Tucson area prosecutor.
Strangely, Myers cited federal and California laws in his motion, with just a sprinkling of the laws of the state of Arizona, in which he was convicted. Critics pounced on his filing, resulting in a negative reaction from Myers in both comments on YouTube and in extended YouTube livestreams.
The prosecution filed their opposition to his request for changes to those conditions late in the week. Myers made claims that the opposition was filed too late and that it was “time locked” and that the judge had thrown the response out.
Multiple checks of Arizona’s eAccess portal showed no documentation from the court to back the claims made by Myers. Instead, a check Saturday morning showed the announcement that Myers had indeed had a court hearing set for July 24, 2026.
As part of the order, the state must file a proof of victim notice by July 6 and the probation department must file an investigative report detailing the defendant’s compliance with conditions and regulations along with recommendations either for or against the motion.
The name of Myers’ probation officer was included in the document.
Myers himself spent early morning on the ReallyCoolNewsWire discord server. Myers interacted with patrons of the “Lane Myers Returns” channel, which was set up in May.
Much like other channels on the Discord server, the Lane Myers Returns channel was set up to feature automated postings of Myers’ and Myers related videos using the Notifyme discord bot. Observers of the channel can watch Myers and Myers related videos without leaving the confines of the channel and leave comments about Mr. Myers.
The server also features specific channels devoted to Jose “Chille” DeCastro and the Dr. Dave v. Audit Them on-going conflict, where fans can interact and talk about current events in each area.
Myers spent approximately two and a half hours taking screen shots from the Lane Myers area before being banned for the server for insulting and degrading other members and violating the server’s set policies.
Lane Myers, journalist representing Lane Myers, then held a nine-and-a-half-hour live stream where he used the screenshots he had taken as absolute proof of a grand conspiracy against him and accused the members of the forum of sending letters to his probation officer and to harassing his victim.
The Discord server is currently in lockdown following Myers threats towards patrons but is expected to reopen to new users sometime in the near future.
Myers centered his rage on YouTuber Merb34st and our own Court Observer JudyYouGotThis, continuing his threats of filing an injunction against Merb34st for what he claimed was harassment as Merb34st continued to @ mention him in YouTube comments.
JudyYouGotThis was met with scorn from Myers, who used a screen shot of her face throughout the nine-and-a-half-hour broadcast. He threatened to subpoena the observer for multiple claims and would eventually photoshop the photo of her face to include a gnome with a giant male member super imposed over her cheek.
Myers’ continued harassment of JudyYouGotThis continued on Saturday as posted the following response to a question from another member the YouTube comments area of the latest near nightly ReallyCoolNews hangout broadcast:

Only if you have a close head injury and just landed from the moon. Not one thing she said was factually correct. She sounded like a “sovereign” cause she fabricated her entire “legal theory”. I cant imagine someone putting themselves what I am about to put them through for 138 views in 15 hours. While begging for money.
