Jailed felon Lane Myers gave another in his planned series of jailhouse interviews on Sunday to YouTube channel 857 Tucson, in which he downplayed the crimes he was convicted for, played up his great fame from his father’s life story and said that he was being played by “hundreds of trolls” who were spamming his probation officer with tales of his misdeeds.
The early part of the interview with 857 Tucson began with Myers’ assertations that he was born into great fame as his father was the first person to be prescribed medical marijuana in the United States.
He recounted his family’s history in the illegal marijuana trade and how his family lost their home when he was very young. He again stressed his great fame and his pledge to keep his father’s legacy alive after he died.
Myers then went into a familiar story of how he moved to Arizona and opened a mountain biking guide service and the events that led to his arrest at the auto parts store and the booing incident that led to the prosecution that put him in the lives of his future victims.
Here, Myers seems to have learned from previous interviews and did not state the victim or her husband’s name or refer to them as victims. He vaguely goes over the events, saying “her and her husband.”
857 Tucson goes on to directly state the victim’s name but gives her husband’s name by his initial. He then led a discussion about her husband’s involvement in Arizona Supreme Court Rule Amendment 122, which would have made it harder for the public to record in Arizona court rooms.
Eventually getting back to his trial and plea deal, Myers stated:
So I I signed a plea bargain. I did sign a plea bargain, but it’s going to be overturned because there was an illegal party plea bargain I just wanted to get out of jail because when you’re sitting there for four months and your wife’s paying all the bills without you, that’s kind of a tough situation to be in. And you know how much houses cost over in the neighborhood I’m talking about, it’s not it’s not cheap.
The conditions they gave me are illegal, I’m saying. So I never should have Like when when I got put on probation he gave me conditions, they’re illegal. I just waited like a year to argue that they’re illegal, but as soon as I filed a motion to argue that my conditions are illegal, they arrested me and said that I was violating these conditions so that they could hurry up, get me in jail with no bonds so I couldn’t then be show up to court in a suit with all my arguments ready.
It’s a dirty game though, it’s a dirty game. But all they have is jail, right? So like you said, I’ll get through it And so on July twenty eighth, I’m I’m gonna argue why my conditions are illegal.
Myers would go on to blame his current troubles on “hundreds” of internet trolls flooded his probation officer. Again, Myers stated:
in jail right now is because of the trolls. There’s trolls that like they want to see kind of like I wasn’t really found anything but there was that guy, that dirty guy or whatever and stupid stuff like that. Yeah, I have thousands of those people who who They pretend that they’re our followers, but they do something to get us in trouble, right? They claim to be like calling because A five seven or Lane Wirers wants us to, but then they say something that is really not something that we would encourage. I would never have them call and say that or ask people to call and say that.
Right. And so yeah, uh I have hundreds and hundreds of uh those people that false report to my probation officer. They post my home address, my phone number, my uh probation officer’s number and tell people to call my probation officer and tell ’em that I’m violating that’s exactly why I’m in here right now.
Myers latest interview has been seen by a little over 1,600 people as of press time. Despite constant promotion by 857 Tascon during the interview, his GiveSendGo campaign had no new observed donations since the interview.

Myers is due in court on Tuesday for his hearing on his motion to change his probation conditions. After that, despite Myers’ claims that the hearing is on August 10, he is currently scheduled to return to court on August 11 for an evidentiary hearing in prosecution’s motion to revoke his probation.
