An early evening ruling by the Judge in the case of Arizona v. Lane Myers may send new shockwaves through the on-going self-generated controversy surrounding the case as Judge D. Douglas Metcalf revealed that the audio transcripts that Myers was demanding his fans call flood to be released are not available to the public.

Judge Metcalf released the following order early Monday night:

The court having been advised that an FTR audio recording of the hearing held on July 23, 2026 is not available, and good cause appearing.

IT IS ORDERED that court reporter, John Bouley, prepare the transcript of that hearing and provide copies to the State and Mr. Resnick. Mr. Resnick is to then provide it to Mr. Myers. The transcript is to be paid for by Pima County.

The release of the audio from the hearing has been a major bone of contention for Lane Myers and his supporter, Illuminate the Dark, over the weekend. Illuminate the Dark posted a phone number to contact the judge along with his e-mail address on her YouTube community page with a directive to Myers’ fans to call flood the judge to release the audio.

Myers himself made multiple statements during interviews over the weekend demanding that Metcalf honor his word and release the audio of the court hearing. He joined Illuminate the Dark in making a demand that his followers contact the judge on his behalf.

Illuminate the Dark removed her post with the call flooding demand from her YouTube community page on Monday.

The release of the transcript is a major loss for Myers, as he was desperate to republish the audio of his court hearing. Previous hearings have been a staple of Myers’ coverage of his previous cases and have appeared on Josh “This is a Public Service” Gray’s YouTube channel in support of Myers.

It is unclear if the issue will be addressed at Myers’ hearing later today.

Supporter Illuminate the Dark released another interview with Myers to her channel Monday night. Myers recapped the accusations against him that will be discussed at his August 11, 2026, hearing to revoke his probation.

In that interview, Myers referred to his victim as his stalker, ending the interview with an extensive statement about the case:

See a lot of times the the downfall in a case is the victim themselves is they’re not reliable. Well in this case they’ve decided, hey, listen, we’re gonna give you some the only way to take Lane Myers down is is not to tell the truth. It’s to to get some professional victims.

to say they you know, we give ’em a speech that they’re gonna say before each hearing. You gotta go in there, hey, hey Here’s what you need to do to keep them in jail with no bond. You need to go in there and make up this story and you need to sit say this, this and this, and then we’ll have them in jail with no bond.

Of course, not m not understanding that when they go to the next hearing they’re going to say something completely different and then their story is going to change over and over and then their stories are all recorded on public court hearings and then we can just play their hearing where they said, Well, hey, at this hearing you said you were this, at this hearing you said this, at this hearing you said this. At this hearing you lied thirty-three times to the judge. At this hearing you Lied ten times of the judge.

At this hearing you fabricated the complete story, and in this one you said you weren’t there. This one you said you didn’t. That’s the definition of a professional victim It’s it’s it’s like they practice. They literally have probably have meetings before the hearings and say, all right, here’s what we gotta do today.

I I just need somebody to do it, right? Because normally a normal person with morals and ethics wouldn’t just go in there and lie to to get somebody held in jail because they would understand. But when w when we’re dealing with these people Um the the the let’s see what we’re gonna call ’em on this time.

What what what’s something I haven’t called them yet The person who thinks we should have secret court um believes that He’s gonna like silence because that’s the goal. The goal is to silence lame lawyers, but it’ll never work because while I’m sitting here in jail, people are talking about it. And that’ll just keep happening.

So whether they send me to prison, I’ll get it the whole time I’m in prison I then I can talk about ’em all I want. Then when I get out of prison, I can talk about them all I want. It’s never gonna go away And I know they’re listening to this, and I know that they’re going to hear me say this, it’s never going to stop.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, as long as I’m alive on this earth, stop telling people what you did How unethical you are, how you tried to scam me in my court case, how you cheated during the evidentiary thing, how you filed a rule eleven on me that was forty five pages long and then you didn’t even show up to court to argue your own rule eleven because you’re such a coward. And then you try to twist it from hey, and remember now there’s a there’s a video out there from from September. This is getting I gotta get close to getting off the phone here But just remember, there’s a hearing from September 8, 2024, where the person themselves said that me calling and saying that they were a crooked ass prosecutor was me being sardonic, which means humorous.

Myers had another financial windfall on Tuesday, with $20.00 in new donations reported to his GiveSendGo campaign.

Jose “Chille” DeCastro won the crowd funding title for Tuesday with $550.00 in new donations. No other campaigns that we follow saw new donations for the day.

ReallyCoolNews reporter JudyYouGotThis will be in court for Myers’ hearing to modify his probation conditions later today. Our coverage of the day’s events is scheduled to begin at 8PM ET tonight.

[Full disclosure: Mr. Myers has both threatened to sue and/or to file an injunction against ReallyCoolNews.
