In a mild surprise on Wednesday, Judge D. Douglas Metcalf announced a verdict in the on-going probation hearing for YouTube influencer and sometimes singlet model Lane Myers immediately after closing arguments were heard in the case and announced that sentencing of Myers for violation of his probation conditions would be held on October 6, 2026.
Myers took a plea deal in mid-2025 after going on trial for multiple felony and misdemeanor charges related to his stalking and harassing the wife of a Tucson city prosecutor who had handled a case involving the influencer.
Ultimately taking a plea deal after facing nearly 131 years in prison if convicted of two sets of charges against him, a sentence to prison time was suspended with Judge Metcalf opting for probation instead.
He was sentenced to three years of probation for each set of charges to be served concurrently. He was also met with strict conditions that included a ban on naming his victim on social media and direct guidelines preventing from associating with Josh “This is a Public Service” Grey and Mark “The Reluctant Prophet” Kelly.
For the most part Myers followed his probation conditions for the first 10 months of the three year term. If he had any questions about probation or concerns, he did not express them in that time frame.
Shortly after the arrest of YouTuber James “James Freeman” Springer in May of 2026, Myers began to do livestreams again on his channel. His first handful of streams were devoted to the Springer case and no mention of his case or his victim was made.
However, as the Springer case fell out of the limelight, Myers returned to streaming about his case and making mention of his victim.
He filed for modification of a handful of probation conditions and, according to prosecutors, seemed to feel like the probation conditions that he was challenging no longer applied to him while the motion was outstanding.
Myers would then go on a theoretical rampage, naming the victim multiple times on livestreams, asking direct questions about her workplace and returning to the behavior that he was prohibited from by terms and conditions of his probation.
This included putting up his victim’s names along with photos of an athlete or astronaut with a similar name to justify his discussion of his victim.
During this time, his channel was monitored by his victim and her family and the probation department. Myers also objected to coverage by both John “Merb34st” Rietveld and ReallyCoolNews, with Myers and Myers’ associates singling out court reporter JudyYouGotThis for scorn based on her court reporting.
A theory by Myers would later state that he was expressing his freedom of speech and that any distress to the victim was unintentional and was caused by the victim seeking out and viewing his content.
Myers also blamed the coverage of ReallyCoolNews and others for his actions on his livestream. He claimed that if he received coverage in the press, he was allowed to respond to that coverage directly without restraint. In one such instance, he went to Josh “This is a Public Service” Gray’s channel which featured thumbnails of the victim’s face and her name during his rebuttal of our article.
The social media influencer was eventually taken into custody by probation officers in July after growing concerns about his erratic behavior and threats towards his victim. He has been without bond in the Pima County Adult Correctional facility since then.
During this time, no gag order was put in place, and Myers was free to do interviews that appeared on Blue Line Transparency’s YouTube channel among others. Myers largely ignored his probation conditions during the interviews, often freely naming and insulting his victim and her family and picking up new allegations of probation violations in the process.
Myers’ motion for probation modification was denied by the court as was his motion to clarify his probation conditions. Multiple motions to dismiss his eventual probation violation hearing were also denied, including one that was filed on Tuesday and denied after closing arguments in the case on Wednesday.
Again, Myers and attorney Mark “The Shark” Resnick blamed Myers’ victim and others for his actions with Myers taking no responsibility for his violations. The pair have stated that they will be appealing any decision in the case, and it is believed the multiple motions to dismiss were to preserve the record for that appeal.
On Wednesday Judge Metcalf found that Myers had indeed violated his probation multiple times. He rejected the idea presented by Resnick that Myers violations were due to confusion on Myers’ part, nothing that Myers abided by his probation conditions for 10 months without question or incident.
Metcalf set an October 6 hearing for the announcement of sentencing in the case. He also reminded Myers that he was still on probation under the original conditions until his new sentencing and that any action he took during this time would be considered as part of sentencing.
Responses from Myers’ supporters were quick and apocalyptic, with YouTuber Blue Line Transparency stating:
Lane Myers was threatened with State Sponsored Violence if he tells anybody his probation was revoked today. Under 18 U.S.C. 242 The Death Penalty is available because an unlawful restraint of a person’s movement has been a part of the criminal act.
Don’t forget Paul Cohen and Clarence Brandenburg were found guilty. Regardless of any troll channels clarification that he plead guilty what makes anyone think he can’t get a trial anyway? If he just keeps on speaking his mind either he wins because the state chooses not to drag themselves into a lifetime of litigation, or he gets a trial anyways.
The troll channels remind me of the people that told blacks to just do as they’re told and go to the back of the bus. There’s always going to be selfish people who fight against freedom when it’s inconvenient to them.

Long time spokesperson Andrea “Illuminate the Dark” Dotson released no statement on her page, instead posting negative comments and criticisms of those who have disagreed with Myers’ actions, including Pima County resident Jason Jenson on a livestream Wednesday night on his channel.
Myers’ supporters actions, while dramatic, failed to promote his GiveSendGo account which saw no new donations for the day.
Aidan “Turtleboy” Kearney again dominated the crowdsourcing market for Thursday, pulling in $2,900.00 in new donations.
SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes pulled in $275.00 total donations, with $30.00 going towards his YouTube Demonetized Long Island Audit fund and $245.00 going to his Support The Fight Against Tyranny & Corruption fund.
Roy Tripoloni’s fund for James “James Freeman” Springer brought in $20.00.
Finally, John “First Amendment Protection Agency” Medaglia rounded out the pack with $10.00 in new donations to his ILLEGAL ARREST DEFENSE FUND!!!
