The Lane Myers Experience continued on Wednesday with a 100-minute interview the jailed YouTuber did with YouTube channel Blue Line Transparency, where inmate Lane Myers repeatedly mentioned his victim and her family, made a groveling apology to Jose “Chille” DeCastro, and asked for more channels to share his cause to pressure authorities to release him from jail.
Myers has been in the Pima County Adult Detention Complex since the start of the month when he was taken into custody for allegedly violating his on-going probation. Myers had been convicted of two felony charges last year in relation to his stalking of the wife of a Tucson area prosecutor.
Part of Myers’ complaints expressed on the lengthy livestream with Blue Line Transparency stated that he was unable to discuss the victim or her family or bring attention to the victim or her family.
Myers used approximately 85 of the 100-minute interview to talk about his victim and his circumstances openly using her and her husband’s names to Blue Line Transparency, with Blue Line Transparency silencing the names in post after the interview.
The jailed YouTuber complained to Blue Line Transparency that YouTuber Illuminate the Dark was recently blocked from contacting him in jail. This was after Illuminate the Dark started a campaign to call flood the facility because she claimed that the facility was purposely limiting Myers’ diet.
Myers would go on to approach Blue Line Transparency, who he called “a stranger” to head up taking Venmo donations that can be used to put money on Myers’ prison tablet account. Blue Line Transparency tentatively agreed to the deal with Myers during the interview.
Jose “Chille” DeCastro was also on Myers’ mind, as he said he wanted to get Blue Line Transparency to contact “bigger YouTube channels” to take up his plight and his appeal for funding as he was planning to appeal a possible revocation of his probation to an appeals court and needed the money.
Myers, who recently filed for pauper status in two recently filed federal lawsuit, claimed that he was making $80,000.00 a year from his own HVAC business and could not afford to pay his bills now that he was incarcerated.
He stated that his wife/girlfriend made $70,000.00 a year and blamed his victim for getting his wife fired from a job where she was making $150,000.00 a year. He stated that he had $4,500.00 in bills each month, then bragged about his active Westlaw subscription, which cost him $900.00 a month.
Myers claimed that despite his and his wife’s extended salaries, he was near the level of qualifying for food stamps in Arizona.
Lane Myers, inmate, would go on to apologize to DeCastro, stating that his previous comments insulting the diminutive YouTuber and failed Power Ranger were in jest. He said that the negativity was “brotherly” and that DeCastro should “stop talking about himself” for once and take up Myers’ cause.
Strangely, Myers admitted that he had made exaggerated statements in interviews about his trial last year with the intention to raise awareness about his case and force the prosecution to either drop charges against him or reduce consequences for his actions.
He said he was successful in doing so, then went through the current accusations against him, exaggerating charges against him and minimizing his own actions. He also released the phone number for his defense attorney, stating that his defense attorney was putting together a panel of his followers who would have access to Zoom calls to help with his defense.
In related news, a media hearing is scheduled for tonight at 4:30PM local time. According to a brief released by Judge D. Douglas Metcalf on Wednesday, Mark Brown of Arizona United News submitted a media request to video and audio record with a cell phone Myers’ July 28 hearing for his Motion to Modify Conditions of Probation.
Mark Dikinson of Mark Dickinson Photography submitted also submitted a media request to appear via Microsoft Teams to audio record the same hearing.

While Myers made a point to beg for funding to his GoFundme during the interview, and Blue Line Transparency put up the webpage of that GoFundMe multiple times, the GoFundMe received no new donations for the day.
The fund for Luis “Real Constitutional Upholders” Johnson brought in $200.00 to win the day, while Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s Help Me Defend My Constitutional Rights campaign brought in $30.00 for the day.
No other campaigns that we follow had donations for Thursday.
