John “First Amendment Protection Agency” Medaglia livestreamed outside of a marijuana dispensary in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Friday afternoon with news that he had just been attacked by a patron of the establishment who was challenging his first amendment right to film.
Medaglia’s shirt was ripped, exposing his chest, which was covered with marks and blood droplets. No visible signs of bleeding were noticeable as Medaglia said that the other guy had retreated into the dispensary for treatment as he was seriously beating.
The YouTuber bragged that he got the best of the other man, who apparently grabbed his camera outside of the dispensary. The man struggled with Medaglia, who then pepper sprayed the man, who fell to the ground.
A struggle between the men apparently took place after that, with Medaglia making it clear to firefighters who would later arrive on the scene that he had been in many fights and that he could handle himself.
Medaglia complained of a bump on the back of his head from when his head hit the pavement during the struggle, but declined official medial treatment, asking for an ice pack from emergency workers who then went inside the dispensary to treat his opponent.
While he stopped his initial live after displaying damage to his tripod, microphone and 360-degree camera, he informed his audience that he would start a new stream when his opponent came out of the dispensary as he wanted to show off how savagely he damaged the man.
Police had not yet arrived on the scene at the end of Medaglia’s livestream.
Despite his injuries, Medaglia was able to give a promo for his planned premiere of the footage for Sunday. Standing with his shirt torn open and blood, apparently from the other participant in the fight dripping down his neck and chest, he went into full plug mode for the video of the altercation.
He then said he was turning off his livestream but would be going live again as soon as police had yet to arrive on the scene and he wanted to film when the other man came out of the dispensary with paramedics show how badly he beat the man up.
Medaglia failed to return to his YouTube channel Friday night, offering no new video or updates to the situation.
Last year Medaglia joined the growing number of First Amendment auditors who have added pepper spraying subjects of their videos to their audits. Often provoking subjects into attacking them before letting the pepper spray lose on their victims, then standing over their bodies to cut a promo about their power and greatness.
The youthful Medaglia has also been subjected to a growing man-crush by fellow auditor Jose “Chille” DeCastro, who marvels at Medaglia’s physique and has stated that he is the greatest active first amendment auditor in the United States at this time.
Medaglia’s altercation brought $7.00 in new donations to his ILLEGAL ARREST DEFENSE FUND!!! GoFundMe campaign, taking second place for the day. Lane Myers’ GiveSendGo campaign quietly took in $20.00 in new donations to win the crowd sourcing title for Saturday.
No other campaigns that we follow saw ne donations for the day.
This is a breaking news story.
