It was just another Tuesday for failed Power Ranger and inventor of the Jock Sock Jose “Chille” DeCastro as he blamed others for his problems, failed to address previous crisis points and ultimately ran an advertisement for a mysterious “new” lawsuit over the course of a six-hour livestream.
The diminutive YouTuber had ended his previous live stream on a cliff hanger of sorts before going dark for a day. That stream had ended with the recently demonetized YouTuber pondering his future and complaining that his Facebook account had been blocked from livestreaming yet again.
He provided no updates at the start of the broadcast:

DeCastro’s problems would apparently continue as he ran an ad video on his Twitter account during the livestream with the headline, “Cops wrongfully arrest me. Lawsuit filed. 9th Circuit Next month. Its just a few bad apples.” The advertisement itself featured DeCastro’s 2023 arrest from Las Vegas.
A quick search of PACER showed no new lawsuits from the YouTuber filed over the past month and none associated with the 2023 arrest as the statute of limitations for filing lawsuits related to that situation passed last year.
Add the fact that DeCastro has three active lawsuits over the situation and things are confused further.
His original lawsuit against the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, filed in 2023, went to trial last February and was recorded as a loss for DeCastro. He has delayed his opening statement in his appeal of that loss multiple times, with his latest deadline to make the statement set for December.
The latest delay was based on a request by his listed attorney, Michal Mee, who was apparently unable to work on the case while he suffered HVAC issues in his office over the summer.
In a continuing pattern, his most recent lawsuit against the LVMPD and other defendants in a case involving his treatment while incarcerated in 2024 for a conviction (later overturned on appeal) related to that arrest has a delay to serve the defendants requested.
DeCastro blamed an unspecified attorney for failing to put in an appearance on his behalf for the delay in serving the defendants. He now has full control of the lawsuit and is asking for more time to serve the known defendants.
Finally, DeCastro’s lawsuit against the Judge who found him guilty in that case, the judge who acquitted him in that case, the assistant district attorney who prosecuted him, Clark County, Nevada, the bailiffs who were on duty during his prosecution and the officer who arrested him was recently partially dismissed.
Clark County and the assistant prosecutor who successfully prosecuted DeCastro had their motion to dismiss granted with prejudice last month. DeCastro was granted an opportunity to “cure deficits” in his arguments against both but has yet to do so.
He was also recently granted yet another delay in serving both judges with the deadline for service set for later this week.
We will continue to monitor his on-going cases as he files them.
