Failed Power Ranger Jose “Chille” DeCastro had an active day in the court system on Tuesday with multiple updates to on-going cases, including his filing of a late response to a recommendation to dismiss his accusations against two Nevada judges after he failed to meet a court’s deadline, which he has blamed on his attorney, Michael Mee.
Attorney Michael Mee currently represents DeCastro in his appeal of his original lawsuit against the Las Vegas Metro Police Department (LVMPD), based on charges brought against DeCastro in 2023.
DeCastro had originally lost the initial court case against him, with Mee representing him, but had the appeal overturned. He eventually hired Mee to take over his civil lawsuit against the LVMPD over the same charges, which went to trial in February and resulted in another loss.
Mee is currently representing DeCastro in the appeal of that case, along with DeCastro’s defense in another criminal case, which stemmed from a July 3, 2026, arrest for walking in the street when a sidewalk was available in Las Vegas, Nevada and his lawsuit against the LVMPD for a Valentine’s Day 2024 arrest.
DeCastro filed suit against the Judges involved in his 2024 conviction and appeal from the 2023 charges along with the prosecutor, Clark County, one of the arresting officers and most of the court staff involved in his trial.
That lawsuit is what he replied to on Friday, indicating that he objected to the court’s recommendation for dismissal as he thought he had recently hired Mee to handle the lawsuit and the service stipulations imposed by the court.
DeCastro noted in the filing that his response came a week after the court’s deadline to reply to the recommendation in the case, again claiming that he only recently found out that Mee had never filed an appearance in the case.
He also noted that once he found out that the service stipulations ordered by the court of simply e-mailing on Judge as service and putting an advertisement in a local paper as a public notice to the other judge was not done, he immediately took action and placed the advertisement and e-mailed his notice to the judge. Both actions taking place a month after the original deadlines had passed.
DeCastro laid the blame squarely on Attorney Mee, who he said has been unresponsive to his inquiries. DeCastro’s frantic filing comes as the statute of limitations has now passed in the case and DeCastro would be unable to refile the lawsuit against either judge should it be dismissed.
The diminutive YouTuber also received positive news out of Oklahoma on Tuesday. An arraignment date has been set for charges he picked up last year of molesting a police vehicle.
DeCastro’s attorneys in that case are set to make an appearance for him on September 23, 2026, as a judge ordered his arraignment. With the arraignment set, DeCastro’s multiple warrants for the charges are expected to be dropped.
Finally, DeCastro also received word that Michael Mee, again representing DeCastro in a civil lawsuit against the LVMPD over a Valentine’s Day 2024 arrest, was granted an extension until October 15, 2026, to serve the defendants in the lawsuit.
DeCastro filed suit in February, days before the two-year statute of limitation was set to expire. He had been granted one extension of time to effect service back in June, which gave him until July 31, 2026, to serve the defendants.
On July 31, 2026, Mee filed an appearance in the lawsuit and asked for another extension of time, which was granted on Tuesday.
