The saga of Christopher “Direct D” Ruff took an unexpected turn from Friday night into Saturday morning as his fiancée, Amanda, held two live streams on his channel, giving updates from her home in Hawaii on his current legal case, their future plans, and their whirlwind romance.

Amanda had previously appeared on fundraising livestreams on Ruff’s channel this week as his friend from Hawaii who said she was willing to put up her house as collateral for $100,000.00 secure bond he needed at the time for this multiple felony charges out of Apache County, Arizona.

Ruff’s charges have since been greatly reduced and he is expected to have his bond reduced at a hearing schedule for Monday.

As it currently stands, Amanda explained that they need $8,500.00 in a cash bond for the Maricopa County warrants. Then they needed 10% for the $100,000.00 bond from a bail bondsman. However, she negotiated that down to $6,000.00 up front with $4,000.00 in future payments.

As of Saturday afternoon, Amanda said that they had made about $2,500.00 in total donations, which included the money from Ruff’s GiveSendGo account. That account stands at $415.00 as of Sunday morning.

Ruff’s Help Chris “Direct D” Ruff Get Home placed second with $70.00 in new donations for Sunday in the overall crowd funding race.

Aiden “Turtleboy” Kearney’s “Help Turtleboy defend Free Speech” GiveSendGo account won Sunday’s title with $75.00 in new donations.

SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes took third place with $10.00 in new donations to his Detained for MY Rights – Continuing the Fight for OUR Rights campaign.

No other campaigns that we follow saw donations for Sunday.

Amanda went on to explain that the news of her and Ruff’s pending marriage was going to be a shock to a lot of people.

She said that she met Ruff when she was 14 and that they were together when they were both arrested when she was 19 for a significant crime. She said that they stayed together through her five years of incarceration, but she broke his heart and broke up with him when she got out of prison.

Amanda said that was a mistake, as was moving to Hawaii, where she’s lived the past few years. She had a mushroom growing business and raising a son on her own until recently, when she made the decision to relocate to Arizona to be with Ruff.

She added that seeing Ruff go through problems with his now ex, Heather Russell, made her jealous and she had to convince Ruff to take her back. They originally intended to marry later this month, with Amanda adding that when Ruff went to the Apache County courthouse to file for a hearing to fight Ruff’s ex’s protective order, he was also going to get information for their marriage licenses.

YouTuber Ruff was arrested instead, initially facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges. The pair have been in constant communication since his incarceration, with Amanda muting part of the livestream when she said she received a call from Ruff.

Ruff is currently scheduled to make a court appearance in Apache County on August 3, 2026.

This is an ongoing news story.
