Like helpless background characters in the old movie ‘Groundhog Day,’ Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s audience was trapped on Friday in a never-ending repeat of violent anti-police videos, begging for his GoFundMe account and, of course, never ending sales for his various products from his website.
DeCastro seemed self-aware of the predicament he was in earlier in the week, complaining to his audience that he was sick of his endless “fire sale” fundraising livestreams as he attempted to raise money for a high-powered attorney in Las Vegas to fight minor misdemeanor charges picked up over the Independence Day weekend.
That self-awareness seemed gone Friday night as he was quick to jump back into a pitch at as second’s notice, offering on the fly sales and deals to his audience on his “sold out products” then complaining that he was “so far behind” in shipping the merchandise that he needed to end early to do something about it.
Falling back into his standard tropes, the live stream hit his highlights and lowlights. Racist comments about Israel and our friends in the “east of the middle,” police have no skin color other than “blue” once they sign up to the force, all races are united in the war against the police, it’s us against them!
Police will be the guards of the data centers that will stockpile the food and water for our robot overlords! “Buy my trifold and I’ll give you everything on my site in digital form for free!” “Two for one on everything but the auto plaque!” Sale! Sale! Sale! Sale! Sale! Sale!
The inventor of the jock sock may be effective, he may not be, he mentioned spending some of the money from his product sales and GoFundMe on his never-ending promises to sue the State of California for violating his civil rights by not letting him use his phone while he’s driving.
He also has to order new copies of his redesigned auto plaques (featuring the DeleteLawZ logo), his 5A Cop Cards with their newly announced redesign and his simplified trifold product. Plus serve a judge, several police officers, buy transcripts and other expenses related to his endless for-profit lawsuits.
The money to fund all of these things comes from his constant sales of his “sold out” products and his GoFundMe, though observers note that the $15,000.00 goal of the GoFundMe isn’t enough to pay for DeCastro’s attorney and for all of the other things he needs money for in the near future.
They also note that DeCastro did not set up a promised GoFundMe for Raushanah Boykin, an Ohio woman who has been in jail since November after being convicted of battery on a police officer.
On Wednesday, DeCastro pledged his never-ending support to the woman after raising a little over $350.00 towards her CashApp. By Friday, he didn’t even mention her or bring up her situation on his livestream, another forgotten cause that he had fundraised off of then dumped the second her cause was no longer useful.
DeCastro may have had good reason to ditch spur-of-the-minute cause Lane Myers, who he had also pledged to send money to while he was in jail. The diminutive YouTuber blamed Myers’ own agent, Josh “This is a Public Service” Gray for not answering his e-mails about the jailed activist, self-appointed “lawyer” and journalist.
Other reasons were there to conveniently forget Myers, as Myers had famously ridiculed DeCastro before going to jail on a livestream, declaring that DeCastro was “on pills” and mocking him for his endless sales of his “worthless” products.
DeCastro has spurned fundraising for others on lesser offenses than this, so observers are waiting to see if he returns to the subject of Lane Myers in the future.
As for DeCastro’s GoFundme, it made $45.00 for Friday’s take, losing out to the $125.00 taken in by Myers’ GiveSendGo account. His GoFundMe made $10.00 for Saturday’s take, losing to our own GoFundMe campaign, which took in $500.00 for the day.
DeCastro still needs $15,000.00 by his early August arraignment to pay for his high-powered attorney, and it may come down to the wire for him to raise the money with so many other distractions and money sinks going on in his life.
This is an on-going news story.
