June 20 arrived and an embarrassed Jose “Chille” DeCastro failed in his promise to “make the trolls watch” as he celebrated the launch of YouVeGotBail.AI by performing nation wide audits and instead, revised his original $25,000.00 goal to fund the launch of his service to a new goal of making $11,250.00 to pay off a patent attorney.
DeCastro apparently announced the change on Friday in a post on his YouTube community page, celebrating the fact that he was able to pay $5,000.00 of the $11,250.00 he owed to a patent lawyer and a declaration of “$11,250.00 or bust!”
The announcement was followed by a number of mentions on his Friday afternoon livestream celebrating that he raised the $5,000.00, with $1,500.00 added of “his own money,” and “would not stop” until he raised the $11,250.00 to pay the attorney and assure that YouVeGotBail.AI was launched.
DeCastro made $210.00 in new donations to his GoFundMe to win Saturday’s crowd sourcing title. He was followed by Roy Tripoloni’s campaign for James “James Freeman” Springer, which brought in $150.00 in new donations despite no real need for the money as Springer has been freed from jail for nearly a month.
No other campaigns that we follow saw new donations for Saturday.
The set goal on DeCastro’s GoFundMe remains at $10,000.00.
DeCastro’s original announced goal of $25,000.00 by the end of June had received significant criticism as he made it clear that only part of the money was going towards the launch of YouVeGotBail.AI. The controversy came and he stated that the rest of the money would be going to paying his mounting legal bills for non-related for-profit lawsuits he has filed over the past few years.
The lack of fundraising success by the creator of the Jock Sock also brought questions about his abilities to set fundraising goals and meet set deadlines. This proved to be a problem as his YouVeGotBail.AI is based almost entirely on making private crowdfunding campaigns that would be used to bail out members of the service when they’re arrested.
Many questioned if DeCastro could not succeed in making his original set goal of raising $25,000.00 in 24 days, how will he be able to raise the tens of thousands of dollars his customers will need for bond in much smaller time frames?
DeCastro answered none of these questions on his stream, while alluding to his financial crisis several times and claiming that “they” wanted to shut his channel down because he announced that he was running for “government.” He would later state that he was going to have to start a new channel because the recent audit he released on his main channel only received 500 views.
Towards the end of the livestream, DeCastro announced that he would be lowering the prices on his website of all of his products to help make his fundraising goals. He also ran a 2 for 1 sale on his Auto Plaque product for the last few minutes of his stream, hoping to jump start sales.
No price cuts were noted on his websites as of Saturday morning.
In a bit of good news, DeCastro’s Constitution HQ PDF based “flash card board game” sold a third copy according to its counter on his Delete Lawz website. The $70.00 game has been a long-time focus of DeCastro’s efforts, and he has asserted that the game play is worth it, despite users having to print out nearly one thousand oversized “flash cards” to play it.
The Diminutive YouTuber did not mention long time supporter Leslie Paul “Les Paul” Gardner, who is currently serving 30 days in Oklahoma’s Stephens County Jail for contempt of court. Gardner is one of DeCastro’s largest supporters and apparently has followed DeCastro’s teachings in using a Pro Se defense in multiple court cases and filing motions that were apparently generated by AI.
DeCastro will be returning to livestreaming later today as he has scheduled a live debate with a police officer on his main channel at 8PM Eastern.
