Minutes after ending his controversial Friday night livestream where he responded to negative coverage by Lane Myers, Jose “Chille” DeCastro was arrested on Freemont Street in Las Vegas after refusing to get out of a street as directed by a police officer.
DeCastro went live Saturday afternoon after spending sixteen hours in the city lockup and claimed that he had been savagely attacked by police in the arrest, with damage to his left shoulder and promised that he would be filing his third lawsuit against the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.
The diminutive YouTuber claimed that Freemont Street had been blocked off at both ends as part of a “First Friday” festival in the area that is held the first weekend of the month.
According to DeCastro he had the legal right to walk in the street as it was closed off and that when a police officer commanded him over a loudspeaker to get out of the street, it was an illegal order.
That officer stopped his vehicle, which was now blocking the road and started to walk away from DeCastro. DeCastro protested loudly and began to follow the officer trying to argue against the officer’s command.
In a YouTube short later released by DeCastro, who was recording the incident, the officer said “Don’t you walk up on me” then grabbed DeCastro. Multiple officers joined him and DeCastro’s phone fell to the ground during the seconds it took to handcuff the YouTuber.
No “savage attack” was observed in the footage; however, the camera was lying at the ground, and its field of view was obscured by legs.
DeCastro was booked on the following charges:
Walk in Roadway When Sidewalk Provided (Traffic-4848.297.1)
Obstructing/False Info to P.O. (Criminal 10.02.010)
The obstruction charge, according to DeCastro came when he refused to give his social security number to an officer as he was being processed. He would later criticize the female officer handling the for wearing false eyelashes while explaining that he believed that police had no legal right to ask for a social security number.
He was released on his own recognizance after what he claimed was 16 hours in a holding cell.

DeCastro shared a harrowing story of being arrested while having to urinate, though he couldn’t urinate with other men watching him. He also complained that the transport vehicle hit several speed bumps on the way to the lockup, making his predicament worse.
He promised a lawsuit and said that he would have the attorney who handled getting the charges for his Valentines Day 2024 arrest dropped before trial would be handling getting the current set of charges dropped.
The failed Power Ranger said that he didn’t want to hold a conventional fundraiser and directed his fans to buy his merchandise in order to support him. He later said that he would be forced to create a new fundraiser to raise $10,000.00 he claimed he would need to fund the lawyer.
No new fundraisers were created overnight. DeCastro’s previous fundraising effort for YouVeGotBail.AI remains in a “donations paused” status.
Angel “Kansas City Accountability” Moses won the day with a $50.00 donation to his Justice for Unlawful Arrest in Ohio campaign. SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes placed second with a $20.00 donation to his We the People vs. Police Union Power fund.

Apparently answering YouTuber Lane Myers’ accusations that DeCastro was on “pills,” DeCastro stated that he was off “THC” because he was going to be traveling the United States doing new audits and didn’t want traces of THC in his system when he would be urine tested for drugs after new arrests.
He said that after events of the last day, he may indulge in the use of THC to calm his nerves.
DeCastro also resurfaced his old idea of creating a new political party. He stated that it was time for a new constitution, and he asked his followers to help him come up with a name for his new party.
He warned, however, that if his new constitution gained popularity that “they” would assassinate him. DeCastro did not specify who “they” were before ending the broadcast.
Both charges that DeCastro received are misdemeanors and he has vowed to fight both in court.

lame is so out of it, you wrote a transcript of his ranting against chilli and it went on and on and never made any sense at all. Is lame next on the hit list?
States all have different needs for identification so always find out what your local state requires. But all of them require sufficient information so that they can identify you. In chili’s case, since he was already in the system, they should only need his name and date of birth to pull up a booking/inmate intake photo to see his who he is. Asking someone for the SS number is a stretch. However, if you do not know, and not everyone does, they should not hold it against you… should not. If you say, I don’t know, or I take the 5th that should end matters, especially if you have already provided name and DOB. But if you are screaming how I won’t tell you anything copper… They all have body cameras so it should be recorded. If you have to give such information and you do not that is grounds for a charge. If you say I do not know it then it is not.
However, why would they need to go to such an obscure legal length when they have him obstructing the officer on the street when he refused to get off the street. Why go that far into the weeds for a charge?
