Regan Benson and Christopher “Denver Metro Audits” Cordova returned to Sheridan, Colorado, on Monday after a two-year absence to attend a scheduled public meeting.
The pair approached the front entrance to find the doors closed and locked. Cordova said that he saw a security guard who went away from the pair instead of letting them in.
That officer would eventually return to let them in. When questioned, the man said that he had stopped to ask the police chief if they were allowed in with cameras as it was his first time manning the door.
Benson smugly stated a number of “interesting” comments and accused the city of Sheridan of picking and choosing who would be allowed into the meeting.
Once past security, the pair sat through the meeting, which was already in progress. Benson took time to pull out a binder and reviewed documents that featured the pair’s previous grievances with the city.
As the meeting adjourned, Benson focused on each member of the city council to explain which ones “sucked” and that she had a problem with, and others that were bright spots in the “hellhole” she described as Sheridan, Colorado.
Benson then approached Sheridan police chief Jeffery A. Martinez to complain about treatment of homeless in the city. She said that while she didn’t see the events, she reminded the chief that police should not threaten to arrest homeless individuals in the cold without consulting the Tri-Cities Homeless provider.
Martinez agreed with Benson’s statement and asked her for more information about the incident she was talking about. He said he wanted to have a better relationship with her “this time around” and would do his best to comply with her requests.
After Martinez left, Cordova and Benson debated giving the police a second chance as the police “lied.” Benson said that she and Cordova did not hold grudges or express hate for anyone. Though Benson then shot down Cordova’s idea to have a 1:1 meeting with Chief Martinez “on camera.”
She went on to explain that she forgives but she doesn’t forget with most people, and what Sheridan did Cordova and Cordova’s former girlfriend was unforgiveable. Benson worked herself into a rage remembering past events, stating that Martinez and his family had been “violent” towards them.
Benson would go through the rest of the binder with Cordova, spending almost an hour reciting their grievances with the city, before turning their attention to Benson’s grievances about how Sheridan treats the homeless.
At the end of the livestream, Benson said that the police in Sheridan were out to cause “violence against me” and that they would be seeking to end her or Cordova’s lives. She credited Cordova’s channel for producing compelling police related video content and disparaged her own channel for lack of viewership.
Why would any bother to end either? This is just YT drama, All the police need to do is find a criminal charge and make it stick to send them away for a stay at the grey bar hotel. Since they both are on the borderline so often, both have had criminal charges laid against them. One has even been convicted and sent inside for a all expense paid stay at the famous mile high grey bar hotel. You would be surprised how prison changes you. And it is never pretty. So. not to worry, no one wants to end them when they can merely offer them free housing for months, or even years in set of charges do stick…
