The admin of Aidan “Turtleboy” Kearney’s “Turtleboy” Facebook group released a short statement from Turtleboy to his fans Wednesday morning, a day after Turtleboy’s bond was revoked for allegedly attacking a former girlfriend on Friday.
In the statement released to the Facebook page, Turtleboy said, “Thank you all for your support. It meant the world to me to have so many of you in the court room. None of this is true. I miss my kids dearly, but I hope to see them soon. – Aidan”
The statement came after a chaotic series of events on Tuesday that saw an official warrant added to the BOLO that had previously been in place since Sunday afternoon. Police had been on the lookout for Turtleboy after his now former girlfriend reported to police that he had shoved her during an argument following his arraignment for multiple felonies on Friday related to the Karen Read murder trial.
Turtleboy turned himself in to police on Tuesday afternoon then was the subject of a lengthy arraignment that included Turtleboy’s lawyer strangely playing audio of he incident taken from Turtleboy’s public YouTube page. While the attorney claimed the tape showed that the incident was a setup by the woman and exonerated him from new charges, the Judge did not agree and revoked his bond for the Karen Read related charges.
Turtleboy is expected to stay in jail until at least his next hearing in for the assault charges in January of 2024.
