“Turtleboy” Aidan Kearney (Turtleboy) had his bond revoked in his witness tampering case on Tuesday after a hearing in which he was found to have violated the conditions of his bond by incurring new charges.
Turtleboy has been charged with shoving his girlfriend on Saturday following an altercation at her home in which he demanded to see her phone. Turtleboy’s attorney played the audio of the incident that Turtleboy had released to YouTube Monday night in an attempt to exonerate his client.
The victim can be heard telling Turtleboy that she had medically induced an abortion of his child at the start of the recording then begged Turtleboy to stay while the drugs took effect. Turtleboy refused and claimed that the woman was lying about her pregnancy.
Later in the tape, there’s a brief struggle when the woman refused to return notes that Turtleboy had taken after accessing her phone. The shove to the couch which sparked the new charges apparently happened at that point.
Turtleboy was charged with intimidation of witness and assault and battery of a member of a household. Bond from his previous charges of witness intimidation, conspiracy and picketing in relation to the Karen Read murder case was then revoked.
When interviewed by local news reporter after the hearing, attorney for Turtleboy claimed that he had been in contact with the FBI “all morning” and also indicated that the private investigators he sent to the victim’s home on Tuesday were later arrested for witness intimidation.
The self-proclaimed “Journalism Jesus” is expected to be held without bond for up to 90 days.
The next hearing for the new charges is January 25, 2024.
