The Angry Vet Squares off with “Troll” on Livestream

Saturday night got a bit weird on YouTuber Kevin “The Angry Vet” Soper’s channel as he livestreamed a confrontation he was having with fellow YouTuber Generally Specific, who was restreaming the confrontation on his own channel.

Soper and Generally Specific were joined on panel by a woman named “Nickie,” who Soper claimed to be the secretary of his The Servicemen and Citizens for American Rights Society (SCARS) non-profit organization. Soper’s wife, who he says is the group’s treasurer, was not on the livestream.

Nickie started the conversation with the assertion that SCARS is a legitimate 501(c)(3) despite not being listed on the official Internal Revenue Service list of registered non-profit organizations as it could take up to twenty-seven months for the organization to be listed by the IRS.

When Generally Specific asked for a receipt for his recent $20.00 donation to SCARS’ on-going GoFundMe campaign and for SCARS’ Employer Identification Number (EIN), both Nickie and Soper mocked him, stating that sharing the number was not required and would be like sharing a person’s individual social security number.

Strangely, YouTuber Regan Benson’s Helping Hands for Dignity Coalition organization is listed by EIN number within the IRS search tool at apps.irs.gov. Both the tax returns she’s filed for the organization, along with the tax e-postcards (as she made less than $50,000.00 in her most recent filings), are publicly available for review.

Nikkie also stated that SCARS’ tax records were not yet available as they were only formed last year and had yet to file tax returns for 2024. She did not indicate if the tax records would be made available before their eventual display on the IRS website.

Both Nikkie and Soper would refuse to identify the legal council for SCARS, now that it was revealed that Six Oakes Farms, the previous legal counsel for SCARS, does not have a law degree or license to practice law.

Generally Specific and Soper would eventually resort to sniping at each other, with Generally Specific leaving the panel with twenty minutes left in the broadcast. This left Soper and Nikkie to update SCARS events.

The primary takeaway from their discussion came with Soper announcing that SCARS’ fundraiser to either cut his hair or keep his hair was effectively dead-on arrival. He blamed being locked out of his website by YouTuber Annapolis Audits for his on-going difficulties.

Generally Specific would go on to host a panel on his own livestream Sunday afternoon, restreaming the event and mocking Soper and Nikkie’s comments.
