No answers were provided by YouTuber Kevin “The Angry Vet” Soper on Sunday night as to the status of his GiveSendGo account as the Veteran and YouTuber openly directed his fans to donate to the campaign.
Soper’s GiveSendGo was noticed to be “unpublished” at the end of last week. No explanation was given for the campaign’s takedown with Soper apparently completely unaware of problems with the account.
The Veteran and YouTuber had dinner alone at an Applebee’s in an unnamed state Sunday night, claiming that he was in search for a second Angry Vet to join him on his exploits. Soper claimed he was “working” but gave little to no details on what his project was or who he was helping.
As he sipped on a margarita and enjoyed loaded fries and an Applebee’s Chicken Sandwich, Soper took time to lash out at fellow veteran Basil “BZWatchDog” Zangare. Soper insulted Zangare’s weight and advised him to go on a diet as Zangare was in no position to criticize anyone else for being overweight.
Soper, again, apparently blissfully unaware that his GiveSendGo for his Servicemen and Citizens for American Rights Society (SCARS) was down, brought up the idea of taking donations to get a haircut.
The haircut idea was originally brought up in January, where Soper would have two competing fundraising efforts. One would be pro haircut, the other would be against, with whatever side receiving $1000.00 the fastest determining if he’d cut an inch of hair off his head at a time.
As Soper’s GoFundMe account has not had a donation in three months and his GiveSendGo account is offline, it is unlikely that he’ll be faced with a choice about his hair length in the near future.
Soper’s GoFundMe received no donations and his GiveSendGo remained down over the weekend. Goose eggs took the day for Saturday, with no active funds receiving donations. Sunday was a different story, as our own On-Going Expenses account received $100.00 in new funding to win the day.
The weekend saw a downward trend for the market continue. Lane Myers’ GiveSendGo account, which is the top performing campaign for the year, went without a donation for the weekend and continues a decline for the campaign as Myers’ exposure has been limited at best.
Myers unofficial spokesperson, Josh “This is a Public Service” Gray’s last update on Myers’ situation came on Thursday. It’s unclear why Gray has moved away from reporting on his friend’s jail status and we’ll update the story when Gray returns to livestreaming.
JOURNALISM IN CRISIS
Both ReallyCoolSite.org’s daily newspaper and our daily newscasts are funded by your continuing donations and what we make from our YouTube AdSense revenue each month.
If you’d like to contribute to help us keep the lights on, eating, keeping the cats fed and writing new stories to feature on both the newspaper and newscast each day, we do have a GoFundMe set up at: https://gofund.me/76d87459
As real American and true protector of the first amendment Lane Myers has made multiple threats to sue us in recent days, portions of all donations may also go towards fighting any possible future lawsuits.
If you can’t afford to contribute, please watch our entire videos, like, share, subscribe and comment. You CAN help by doing next to nothing and we thank you in advance for pitching in!
