Anti-police activist Regan Benson returned to Englewood, Colorado, on Friday with a brief bizarre video in which she cackled and laughed her way though watching Englewood police discover anti-police graffiti outside of the Englewood Civic Center.
Chomping on her gum and sitting in her flashy new red truck, the aged activist waited for Englewood police chief David Jackson to exit the civic center. She then cheerfully chewed down on her candy as she followed the chief to his car.
In the four-minute video entitled, “BRING BACK the CHALK REDRESS& PROTEST! #davidjackson,” Benson was not surprised when the chief discovered graffiti reading, “We don’t need any more worthless cops in Colorado, Jackson,” strangely written in front of his parked truck.
Jackson, as per his policy with Benson, apparently offered no reaction to her queries and simply took a picture of more graffiti near his truck, got in his truck, waited a minute for Benson to move away from the vehicle, then drove off.
Benson provided commentary as Jackson sat in his car, then, as he drove off, the second message was “shockingly” revealed by Benson to read, “Why R U here?” It is of note that the thumbnail for Benson’s video showed more graffiti reading, “Fuck the Popo” apparently written in an area near the Civic Center.
Friday’s video seems to be simply another in a series of increasingly erratic outbursts by the advocate for the homeless and grandmother. Last month she led a strange “protest” through the streets of Englewood where she, joined by an slightly embarrassed partner, carried garden rakes that she called “pitchforks” and screamed, “Google peasants with pitchforks” at passersby.
Benson continued that protest last Monday by bringing her garden rake turned pitchfork turned “sign and not a weapon” at the latest Englewood City Council meeting. The activist staged hurled insults at police and became enraged when her “sign and not a weapon” was not permitted past the metal detectors in the city council chamber.
The YouTuber eventually gave up her protest and entered the city council chambers when she again became enraged when her friend was not allowed to speak during the public speaking portion of the meeting due to a violation of the city council guidelines.
Benson is currently suing the city over what she claims are first amendment violations in regards to previous attempts to speak at the city council meetings. Her actions in recent days seem to have become more erratic following a countersuit by the city, which alleges that she claimed that members of the Englewood public library were providing sexual favors for the police department in exchange for favorable treatment.
She has also become one of the latest first amendment auditors to sign up with that Randall S. “The Unhinged Attorney” Newman, Esq., to protect her copyrighted material on YouTube. While she has yet to file suit or take legal action, Newman has made reference to her as his new client in videos released this week.
Benson, an affluent woman from Denver, has become increasingly interested in the inner workings of the Englewood City Council over the past three years following an incident where she was denied the use of employee bathrooms during a first amendment audit at the civic center.
The YouTuber and her husband were awarded $130,000.00 by settling two first amendment related lawsuits against the city of Denver in 2024.

So follow me on this.
Lawyer A gets me a settlement of 130K$
Lawyer B has no track record of having won any money based on the theory he is proposing.
So I have a new lawsuit, (or is it a lolsuit?) so instead of going with the lawyer who got me a big cheque, I am going to go with a wholly new, if not unique, theory of law and copyright.
And the rational basis for this decision would be?
1) there is no rational basis. Since everything else she does is irrational, like the whole bring a rake to a meeting.
2) The winning lawyer is not a shyster and is not trying to make a YT scam come to fruition?
3) The winning lawyer knows the law and does not want to go anywhere near this bogus application of law.
(Are any of her videos registered for copyright purposes? Which would be the first step is a copyright lawsuit.)
I don’t claim to know the reason why she went with a new lawyer, but I strongly suspect that the reason would have something to do with the merits of the copyright lawsuits that are to come.
I could be wrong, and we may never know why…
But
go with a winning lawyer, or go with a new lawyer
go with someone who put cash in your pocket or go with someone else
go with a known lawyer who is in her town with a legal reputation or go with the guy from bangcock
I don’t know which side you might stand on but I know where I would be. And surprisingly, it would not be on the scam side.
