Tuesday saw more goose eggs put up for all of the campaigns that we follow, including those of Jose “Chille” DeCastro, who saw some notable unusual activity on his YouTube channel.
After our recent expose, DeCastro’s minions addressed some of our criticisms and upped the production of short video content and, of all things, a Michael Ehline hosted live stream on DeCastro’s channel did 57,000 views as of press time.
There had always been rumors of DeCastro buying viewers and buying subscribers. On days where his non-short content surged above the averages on his channel, it was easy to accuse him of it because the YouTube algorithm didn’t normally pick up his content.
Also, the fact that DeCastro’s viewership would often increase by the same percentage every day and would drop off each month on the same days, gave evidence that his channel could have had month buys of subscribers that ended in specific dates.
Since DeCastro’s incarceration, and evidenced on Ehline’s own channel, 57k viewers doesn’t come easy to content with Michael Ehline hosting it. It’s suspicious as there were under 200 likes and comments at press time, and the side chat replay didn’t seem active for all of those viewers.
But YouTube hasn’t acted, though many people have reported the content. In the absence of everything else, and as illogical as it sounds, maybe Ehline simply got lucky, and 55,000 more viewers than normal came to see one specific livestream he’s done on DeCastro’s channel and quietly watched without interacting.
Maybe, they did, maybe they didn’t, but as usual, no URLs were shared and DeCastro again brought in goose eggs for the day.
Viewership only counts when viewers are converted into participants. Participants on a scale of 57,000 would like, share, subscribe and DONATE.
But they pinky swear it’s a true number… it’s up to you to decide if they’re somehow wrong.
If you’d like to help us out, we do have a GoFundMe of our own located at https://gofund.me/b8144e31. All proceeds go to keeping the lights on, eating, and writing new stories to feature here and on reallycoolsite.org.
