New York based YouTuber Ely was involved in a confrontation outside of P. McDaid’s Irish Pub in New York City Wednesday night.
The energetic YouTuber approached the establishment on his live stream and was asked by security guard to back away from the front entrance. A verbal altercation turned into a physical altercation in which Payne dropped one of his phones, smashing the screen.
New York based auditors Good Guy Audits and Brooklyn Audits Gonzo appeared on the scene before police arrived and the trio took turns berating security and the manager of the establishment as their followers review bombed the establishment and called the restaurant to complain about the security guard.
After police attempted to diffuse the situation, Ely agreed not to press charges against the security guard if he agreed to apologize and pay him $150. The security guard agreed and reluctantly shook Ely’s hand in front of the establishment during a camera op for the trio of YouTubers.
Later in the evening, the trio of YouTubers confronted police at New York’s 25th precinct. Ely entered the building to request a complaint form before being ushered out by police officers who informed him he could not film in the building.
The trio received their complaint forms and eventually left the outside of the precinct as they could not find a pen or pencil to use to fill out the forms.
