A confident Jose “Chille” DeCastro released his latest jailhouse statement on Tuesday to coincide with the reply to the responding brief filed by his attorney, Christopher Oram, in his appeal of his conviction of charges of obstructing a police officer and interfering in a traffic stop.
In his lengthy audio statement, DeCastro promised that he would be suing Justice of the Peace Ann Zimmerman for allegedly conspiring with her bailiff to “trigger” him before his case was heard on the day of the trial. Their alleged actions, according to DeCastro, were responsible for his lack of decorum in court and gave Zimmerman the opportunity to punish DeCastro for improper behavior.
At times claiming he was apologetic for insulting the bailiff as he felt court was not a place for insults, DeCastro almost immediately contradicted himself by saying that he was justified in calling the bailiff “a pig” because the bailiff acted like one and he would stand by his comments.
DeCastro also promised that he would be suing Zimmerman for allegedly not allowing his friends and family into the courtroom on the day of his motion for reconsideration. Despite a report by Alex Falconi of Our Nevada Judges that everyone who had shown up on time for DeCastro’s hearing was allowed into the courtroom, DeCastro claimed that Zimmerman would not allow his friends and family into the courtroom for the hearing.
The jailed YouTuber further claimed that eight members of his friends and family would be signing onto his pending lawsuit against Justice of the Peace Zimmerman. Exclaiming that he expected a big payout from Clark County, Nevada, for Zimmerman’s alleged misdeeds, DeCastro was confident that he could sue Zimmerman and that Zimmerman would later face public trial from the press.
As far as DeCastro’s response to the reply, it was the same rehash of the incomprehensible arguments he was making in his 150+ page argument that started the appeal. Nothing new was offered and he stood by his assertation that he did nothing wrong, stood a far enough distance away from the officer as not to be a threat, and that Justice of the Peace Zimmerman was conspiring against him as she was a biased actor in the case.
In more good news for DeCastro, it was revealed on Tuesday that he had another day removed from his sentence and now will be out of jail on July 31, 2024.
There have been no updates about his court hearing that was set for Tuesday in his California based lawsuit against Kate Peter, Team Skeptic, Daniel Clement and Michael “Blue Bacon” Pierattini as of press time.
