Glenn Cerio released a new video documenting his series of civil lawsuits against those who he feels have wronged him as he served the Mayor of Edmonds, Washington, with a lawsuit against a police officer for a brief detainment of Cerio in late 2022.
Cerio was detained in October of 2022 by Edmonds police officer Andrew Mehl as he matched the basic description of a person suspected of stealing from an Edmonds Safeway Supermarket, an incident that police were then currently investigating.
Officer Andrew Mehl asked Cerio if he had ditched a beanie and the Seattle Seahawks sweatshirt that the suspect was reported as wearing. Cerio refused to answer the officer’s questions and began to hurl insults at officers responding to the scene.
Cerio was eventually released as it was determined that he was not the person suspected of the crime but claimed injuries to his neck and ankle and required transportation to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The YouTuber did not have physical contact with the officers and did not show the source of his injuries in the course of his video of the incident.
Cerio’s video featured his taking a process server to the Edmonds City Hall and negatively interacting with the receptionist for eight to ten minutes before being greeted by Mayor Mike Rosen and police chief Michelle Bennett.
The mayor shook Cerio’s hand and treated him warmly even after Cerio’s process server handed the mayor a civil lawsuit. Cerio then explained that it was the first of two lawsuits with the second being a federal civil rights lawsuit where he’ll be suing officer Mehl for $50 Million.
Cerio inquired about a second officer, who had since resigned from the Edmonds police force, and asked if the police chief Bennett if she had the name of his current employer. Bennett did not have the information and Cerio briefly attempted to escalate drama between the two before catching himself and backing away from the officer.
This is the second in a series of lawsuits Cerio has served in the past two weeks as part of his “revenge tour” against police that he has had previous encounters with that resulted in either charges that were not pursued or charges where he was tried and found innocent.
The YouTuber previously served the city of Mukilteo, Washington, with multiple lawsuits directed at officers involved in arrests in that city. He also claimed that a federal civil rights lawsuit for $50 million would be filed against the officers.
Cerio has also claimed that he had been living in Las Vegas, Nevada, and working with Jose “Chille” DeCastro earlier in the year. He had joined “Team DLZ” and was helping with the appeal of DeCastro’s conviction of obstructing an officer and interfering in a traffic stop.
Cerio’s lawsuits are apparently under the advisement of DeCastro, who has filed suit against police in both Ohio and Nevada. It is unclear if he is representing himself in the lawsuits.

Its the new game. File lawsuits against officers. Sadly, it a very old game and it does not work. But it keeps frauditors from little children, then these lolsuits are worth it. warden and sheepdog should have tried this route, it would have saved so many children
