YouTuber and activist Regan Benson used an old piece of hate mail as her example of threats she’s received since speaking out against the so-called tyranny she faced since expressing her opinions over corruption she’s seen in the Denver area.
The letter contained hate speech and racial remarks directed at both Benson and sidekick Christopher “Denver Metro Audits” Cordova, exposed Benson’s social security number and gave the impression that a threat to her life was imminent.
Benson followed up her dramatic reading of the letter at the bi-weekly Englewood City Council meeting by explaining that her personal information had been leaked last year and now had been leaked again.
This time the information was allegedly leaked by defendant in one of her federal lawsuits and she complained loudly as she needed to renew the LifeLock information protection service to protect her personal information for another year.
Benson also dramatized the threat she was under, supposedly based on the threat from the letter, in her speech to the City Council. She claimed, with no offer of proof, that the Englewood Police Department would soon be using violence to chill her free speech as they did not like her viewpoints.
After she finished speaking, she would eventually leave the meeting room and enter the lobby where she accused three Englewood police officers of being mindless thugs who would not hesitate to put a “bullet between her eyes” if ordered to do so by Englewood Police Chief Sam Watson.
Again, Benson’s display of fear and over the top reaction was supposedly based on the letter she received, threatening her with death.
Kate Peter, AKA The Devil, Dooms Life as We Know It (Satire)
The problem, of course, was that the letter was not new. It’s been featured before in a supposed threat to Benson. Back in January of 2023, Benson accused the supporters of Kate Peter for sending the letter containing the threat and the exposure of her social security number.
Benson left the reference to the Masshole Troll Mafia in as she read the letter, tipping everyone who had followed Benson for some time that she had recycled the threat to her and her family in her address to the city council.
With Benson threatening lawsuits against the Englewood City Council, it’s unclear why she would accuse them of being involved in a clearly old threat to her family. It continued a pattern of outrageous behavior on her part but could clearly be dispelled if she uses it as evidence in court.
