Partners in Auditing Regan Benson and Christopher “Denver Metro Audits” Cordova raged against the TyrantClowns YouTube channel for apparently issuing a copyright notice against a video reused by Cordova that originated on the TyrantClowns channel.
Cordova claimed he would be taking a two-week hiatus away from posting YouTube videos in protest of TyrantClowns’ actions, as he was now “shadow banned” from the platform as he fought the copyright notice.
The YouTuber further claimed that the original clip used in the video he featured from TyrantClowns’ channel was repurposed from another channel and TyrantClowns had no legal right to claim copyright of the material.
Cordova talked about his feelings on getting a copyright strike in both a recent YouTube community post, reshared by Benson, and a lengthy YouTube video linked above.
Critics of Cordova were quick to point out the hypocrisy of Cordova’s statement as he apparently has an issue with others using his work and has had no problems issuing copyright strikes of his own when he feels his works have been reused without permission.
While Cordova may use the distinction that it was his original content and not repurposed content that received copyright strikes, others may be quick to point out that Cordova’s alleged misuse of the copyright system leaves him no legs to stand on in this fight.

Continuing with Cordova updates, we were recently given access to the correct CourtListener page to follow Cordova’s on-going attempts to appeal his conviction for filming inside a Social Security Administration building and failing to comply with the directions of official signs or the direction of a law enforcement officer.
Cordova is challenging the laws involved, jurisdiction of law enforcement, and is claiming that the area he was arrested in was a public lobby in which filming would be otherwise permitted in his appeal.
Both Cordova’s appeal brief and the United States’ reply brief have been filed in the case, after a lengthy delay, and Cordova’s response to the reply brief is due this month.
Thank you to Discord user Paul Berry for providing the correct link to follow the case.
