It’s a little past the mid-point of the month and we’ve got our first Auditor Round-Up of the year featuring news on Craig Hendry, Glenn Cerio and “Last Days of Freedom” Jeremiah Payne to share with you.
Self-proclaimed “historical figure” Craig Hendry’s promise to provide daily updates from his jail cell in Green County, Indiana, came to an end las week when a reported illness in his family ended the videos; the YouTuber got some worse news on Tuesday as he was sentenced to 160 days in jail.
Hendry will receive 17 days credit for time served and has openly predicted that he’ll actually stay in jail for around half of the sentence due to time off for good behavior and other incentives.
This was the case where Hendry informed a city council that police had illegally kicked in his door and ransacked his house. He was arrested for making a false police report and faced the possibility of 180 days in jail.
Hendry’s defense did nothing to prove that the incident happened the way he said it happened, instead focusing on his use of terms like “kidnapping” and “being held against my will” to show that he was being prosecuted for his beliefs and not a crime.
His argument failed in front of a jury; Hendry claims that he is appealing the conviction.
YouTuber and walking shadow of freedom Glenn Cerio returned with a new video on Monday where he watched a Washington State police officer process a ticket on a box truck in a parking lot across the street from a Target.
Cerio ominous shadow was featured walking in front of him as he made his way through the parking lot of a shopping center, finally coming to rest about 20 feet from the state patrol vehicle.
The State Patrol officer briefly looked up from his paperwork and waved at Cerio, refusing to take any time with the YouTuber. Cerio noticed that there was rust and extensive scrapes and damage on the front of the police cruiser.
Cerio did not inquire, instead, he continued filming the scene and abruptly changing focus to film the box truck that was blocking part of the parking lot.
Eventually, the state patrol officer finished his paperwork, walked to the front of the box truck and apparently used translation software on his phone to give instructions to the driver.
The driver accepted the ticket; the police officer walked back to his cruiser and drove off.
There was a brief second where Cerio was sure that the officer was going to come over and crackdown on his taking video of the scene but that did not happen. The cruiser drove by Cerio without incident.
Cerio spent another minute or two and watched the box truck drive off before ending his stream.
Finally, Last Days of Freedom auditor Jeremiah Payne continued his updates on his YouTube community page over the weekend with a new update on his alleged stalker.
Payne has not been able to edit video since losing his laptop last month in what he said was a confrontation with a Lyft driver.
The Tennessee based YouTuber allegedly verbally attacked the female driver and she allegedly drove off with his backpack containing his laptop and other equipment vital. Efforts to retrieve the items have been unsuccessful and Payne has threatened a lawsuit against Lyft and the driver.
Payne has also been at odds with a “stalker” who uses various names to antagonize the YouTuber. This time, Payne’s statement focused on a YouTuber named “WillyWonkers-d3g” who posted the following on another now-deleted community post on Payne’s YouTube channel.
“We have video proof of Jeremiah Payne baiting people and cops into violating his rights so he can file lawsuits. Video proof of him peeing in public, and looking in cars for items to steal, video proof of him stealing a kids bike and pawning it, you all don’t wanna miss the next episode of Jeremiah off his meds”
Payne was apparently upset with the statement and accusations, making his own extensive commentary in response.
“Apparently, this idiot doesn’t know that slander is the definition of what he is doing. He’s stating something as facts. And stating they have video proof of it, which they do not, therefore, by his very comments of saying they have video proof of me antagonizing cops just to get a lawsuit by his very comment, he has gave me a lawsuit and see what these f****** idiots do not understand is. I’m sick of their s*** And everyone coming on my channel, doing this s***, I am going to take the court. Police agree with me that what this person is doing is harassment and stalking, which are criminal charges. Every YouTube comment, you have to have an email address to create that account to be able to leave a comment every email address links to your phone. Just a matter of time before they figure out who you are and criminal charges will be pressed. and civil litigation is coming cause everything you are saying is to defame my name? and to harm my reputation on YouTube.”
Payne has yet to file new lawsuits against anyone as of press time.
