Jailed YouTuber Lane Myers gave an interview with attorney Michael Ehline on Wednesday, taking time from his busy schedule to rehash most of his standard lines and claims.

Myers made news of sorts on Tuesday as he claimed that he was offered three years of probation in a plea deal that he did not accept. He stated probation was a deal breaking condition as he knew that any time he acted out of line while on probation, he could have been brought back to jail.

Ehiline seemed less concerned about Myers’ plight during the interview than he was with asking Myers questions from Jose “Chille” DeCastro, who was in the side chat of the event. The attorney peppered Myers with questions and concerns from DeCastro, who seemed to be taking a stake in Myers’ case as they share a lot of the same supporters.

Myers admitted that he had joked about DeCastro’s trifold in the past, but really didn’t mean anything by the jokes. He said he was just parroting what he had heard others say and that he had no real malice or animosity towards DeCastro.

Ehiline himself has said that he was interested in passing the bar in Arizona in order to help out the Arizona based cop watchers and auditors. At one point claiming that he would help out anyone, including Christopher “Direct D” Ruff, who hated him, if he was in need.

Returning to Myers’ usual tropes, Ehline seemed ill-prepared to go beyond standard themes. There was an extended discussion into Myers access to the law library at the Pima County Adult Correctional facility, with Ehline chastising the Judge and prosecutor for not knowing that there hadn’t been a physical library for years.

Myers said he didn’t have access to a real library and couldn’t work on his case. He would later admit that he had access to a WestLaw knockoff from his jail tablet, however it only covered rules of procedure and Arizona State law.

The YouTuber turned inmate mockingly said that he wanted to pick up federal charges as quality of life would be better in a federal prison. He claimed that the jail guards seemed sick of him complaining about being in jail for “nothing” and that he had been told by every lawyer he talked to that he was jailed for no reason.

Ehline suggested trying to have his case moved to federal court as Arizona was biased against him, then pointed out that the 30-day deadline to file that motion had passed. Myers seemed unimpressed with Ehline during the interview, avoiding efforts to have Ehline get more involved in his case.

Myers said that jail was hard and when asked about his dogs, said he and his domestic partner had discussed them earlier. This prompted a rant where Myers said that the judge who oversaw his bond hearing was biased against him and had a conflict of interest as she had previously worked at the same university as the “so called victim.”

The YouTuber promised that he would appeal if found guilty and said that if he was allowed to be pro se at his no bond hearing, things would have gone differently. According to Myers, he would have “destroyed” the police detective who testified against him upon cross examination and the state’s entire case would have fallen apart and he would have been freed.

When asked by Ehline what his supporters could do for help, Myers implored them to “address their grievances” with Pima County Attorney Laura Conover. Though he said that Conover was biased against him for an incident where he went to her house and tried to put up a campaign sign for Donald Trump.

Myers next court appearance to hear his effort to replace Judge D. Douglas Metcalf is scheduled for early June.
