YouTuber SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes on Thursday weighed in on recent accusations by a security guard who appeared as a guest on the Doctor Phil show, claiming that the security guard defamed him.
The security guard appeared on the popular daytime TV personality’s show and told his version of encountering Reyes in a 2023 incident at an unemployment facility in Virginia. According to the security guard, Reyes acted inappropriately while at the facility and a veteran who encountered Reyes later committed suicide.
The allegations by the security guard have gone semi-viral within the first amendment auditing community, with pro and anti-auditing channels weighing in on the appearance.
One of those channels, hosted by Gainesville, Florida, police sergeants Tristan Grunder and Jon Rappa, called Reyes “soft” for filing assault charges on the security guard in the original incident and later offended Reyes by calling him a “dipshit,” “smug” and a “Frauditor.”
Insulting both men, Reyes declared that his channel stood up against those who would gaslight in favor of police, and he would expose those who said that “we the people” acted inappropriately and were called “bullies.”
He encouraged his fans to “find out more” about both men and shared e-mail contacts along with Facebook pages of organizations related to both men. He also claimed that Grunder, who appeared as a guest with Josh Abrams on the Doctor Phil show, wanted to physically assault Josh Abrams in a “roid rage” incident.
Reyes himself appeared on Josh “Accountability for All” Abrams’ YouTube channel in an ambush of the security guard last week where he confronted the security guard and called him out for allegedly lying about what happened. Then implied the man deserved the treatment he received from Reyes’s fans for assaulting him.
Abrams later released a video backing Reyes against claims, while stating that “if his story is true,” the man didn’t deserve the harassment he received by Reyes’ fans. However, Abrams “confirmed” that the man was lying about the veteran’s suicide through his own research and Reyes presenting him with the unedited recording.
That recording was supposedly on display throughout Reyes’ Thursday video, as “proof” that there was no veteran at the facility and that the security guard was lying.
Reyes was careful not to say anything about TV Host Doctor Phil during the video, and the normally aggressively litigious Reyes has yet to file a defamation lawsuit against either the security guard of the police officers.
