SeanPaul “Long Island Audits” Reyes made a series of announcements about his long-standing legal action against former Connecticut State Trooper Brian Fahey on Tuesday before announcing that he was taking a two-week “preplanned work vacation” to end his summer.
Parading in front of a field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Reyes explained that he had been back to the building in order to provide more audio and video evidence to FBI agents.
While he wouldn’t “confirm” an investigation was taking place, he prefaced his statements with “I’ve heard that” there was definitely an investigation into both the alleged violations of his civil rights and the alleged illegal overtime scheme that he’s accused Fahey of masterminding.
He also announced that the State’s Attorney’s investigation into the incident at Sgt. Fahey’s home last month has been transferred to Windham County, Connecticut after an appearance of bias in New London County. The YouTuber then expressed concern as the newly appointed State’s Attorney for Windham County is a man named John F. Fahey.
Reyes speculated upon the possible relationship between the two men named Fahey involved in the investigation, but indicated that until John Fahey proves otherwise, he should be essentially given the benefit of the doubt.
The YouTuber also promised that he had “an insider” within the police force of the town of Groton, Connecticut, that he’s added to his list of insiders within the FBI, various cities in New York, and the Connecticut State Patrol. He promised that the insider had damaging material against the entire police force that may end his prosecution for charges of felony voyeurism, breach of the peace and trespassing.
Reyes then announced that he would be taking a two-week “work” vacation, where he would continue with his video releases but would otherwise be taking time away with his family to recuperate from the past few weeks of national attention.
The vacation announcement was seized on by critics who noted that the affluent Reyes has brought in $49,547.00 in donations to his legal defense GoFundMe in the past month and a half since the incident at Fahey’s home in Connecticut.
More accusations have come as Reyes’ new information on the case seems to come at times when there’s been a lull in support for that campaign, which is currently sitting a mere $5,500.00 away from its $55,000.00 overall funding goal.
That lull continued this week as Reyes took in $25.00 to win Tuesday’s crowd sourcing title. The fund did slightly better on Wednesday, taking in $61.00 but losing the overall crown to Reyes’ Support the Fight Against Tyranny & Corruption campaign, which took in $69.00.
Thursday’s results were similar to Tuesday’s, with Reyes’ legal defense campaign bringing in $40.00 and second place going to that Randall S. “The Unhinged Attorney” Newman, Esq., GoFundMe campaign to help fund a lawsuit against the internet personality known as “the Exposer,” which took in $5.00 for the day.
That $5.00 donation is especially notable as it was credited to a “Patrick Darcy,” a misspelled version of attorney Patrick D’Arcy, a frequent critic of Newman’s.
None of the other campaigns that we follow received donations this week.
Reyes’ domination of the crowd sourcing market continues at midmonth with his generic Support the Fight Against Tyranny and Corruption fund taking the overall lead with $1,490.00 in donations for the month.
His Stand with me to Hold Bryan Fahey Accountable fund is in second place with $1,385.00 in new donations, followed by our own On-Going Expenses campaign, which took in $200.00 in donations for the month, and Attorney Newman’s GoFundMe campaign, which has taken in $5.00.
Despite the flip flop of the top spot for the mid-month results, Reyes’ Fahey campaign again dominates the year’s top ten as it’s taken in over $49,000.00 in donations. Second place is still held by the now defunct Clash with Bao legal defense fund, with $6,790.00 in donations.
Third place is held by Lane Myer’s Legal defense GiveSendGo campaign, which has brought in $6,545 for the year, followed by Reyes’ Support the Fight Against Tyranny and corruption fund, which has taken in $5,727.00 for the year.
The rest of the yearly top ten remains relatively unchanged with our own On-Going Expenses fund coming in the fifth position, followed by Craig Hendry’s To Support Craig’s work campaign, Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s campaign to sue two Nevada judges, Reyes’ Support Freedom Stand Against Tyranny Together fund, a YouTuber’s now defunct fund to attend Fraudit Wrangler’s sentencing, and finally the DeCastro run campaign to support Craig Hendry.
We will revisit these results at the end of the month.
