Just a quick update to verify that I’m alive after being diagnosed with COVID today. I’ve been sick with what I thought was the worst cold I ever had. My doctor refused to see me without a COVID test, and the home test came back positive this afternoon.
I’m hopefully on the tail end of it since I’ve been sick since Sunday. I’m going to try to schedule a Drunk Girl Theatre for tomorrow, but my voice is not yet to the point where I can actually do a newscast.
The plan is to rest up until Sunday then resume newscasts as long as I’m not dead.
I will be filling in stories from this week in print form as I can that probably won’t go out in audio format. We’re just going to move forward and try to get back on our feet.
