Fans were shocked on Wednesday as Jose “Chille” DeCastro postponed portions of his live infomercial to take time to talk to associate Jason Dollarhide.
Dollarhide called from the Cleveland County, Oklahoma, Detention Center, where he has been incarcerated since July. The former YouTuber immediately complained bitterly about a search by guards that confiscated materials he purchased from the commissary.
DeCastro responded by claiming that he would be sending Dollarhide $100 after their conversation ended and that he had been sending Dollarhide money each week for commissary purchases.
Dollarhide, apparently unaware he was being live streamed, asked DeCastro to “make some calls” to the detention facility to complain about his treatment. DeCastro replied that he would do so and that he would “make some calls” to encourage others to complain on Dollarhide’s behalf.
Updating his current cases, Dollarhide stated that his lawyer has made multiple attempts to get his bond lowered and each time it has been denied. Dollarhide claimed that his family offered to put up $50,000 of his $154,000 bond in exchange for lowing his bond, but had the offer denied by the court.
Dollarhide had his previous bond rescinded by his bond bailsman in July after incurring new charges, including assault on a police officer. His trial dates have been moved multiple times without resolution and, according to Dollarhide, his next trial date is in February of 2024.
