The incredibly tumultuous on-going war between Christopher “Denver Metro Audits” Cordova and Jonathan “Frauditor Troll” Hudon-Huneault took another turn late Tuesday night when “Sinsational” Simon Lin, filing on behalf of Hudon-Huneault, demanded that the venue for their on-going lawsuit be changed to Canada or the Judge in the current case force Cordova to put up a $135,619.75 bond to cover the expenses he says they’ll recoup when they win the lawsuit.

Lin’s move comes a day after the lawsuit was officially ordered to go to a settlement conference before Magistrate Judge Susan van Keulen and a week after defendant Hudon-Huneault both said he had no intention of settling the lawsuit but would go into any court ordered settlement talks “with an open mind.”

It also comes two weeks after a spontaneous attempt to have Cordova’s attorney, That Randall S. “The Unhinged Attorney” Newman disbarred through a video campaign by consumer advocate Louis Rossmann and a pressure campaign on Cordova to drop the lawsuit because findings in the suit could “ruin YouTube for everyone.”

The new filing argues that since all the activities leading to the claims against the defendant happened in Canada, the proper venue for the lawsuit would be in the Federal Court of Canada. Lin also notes that neither plaintiff Cordova or defendant Hudon-Huneault reside California and there would be significant issues with travel for court appearances due to co-defendant Nneka Ohiri’s pregnancy.

The filing also bizarrely argues that moving the lawsuit to Canada would be favorable to Cordova’s claims and that a Canadian court could enforce any judgment against Hudon-Huneault. Lin argued that any such judgement in the United States would then have to be relitigated in Ontario, with further appeals in Canadian court, before any judgment can be recognized.

Provided that the court rule against moving the lawsuit, Lin is demanding a security bond of $135,619.75 to be put up by Cordova as Cordova recently admitted that he lived a life of “poverty” and had hired attorney Newman on contingency, with Newman bearing most of the costs involved in the lawsuit so far.

Attorney Lin, despite his literal last filing stating that the plaintiffs had “unlimited funds” to pursue the case and that his client was at a financial disadvantage, now uses Cordova’s admission of poverty against him.

The Canadian attorney assured the court that he had “at least” four affirmative defenses that would see his client win the lawsuit and asserted that he would need a security bond to recoup costs from his efforts on the part of his client.

Lin submitted a 318-page declaration and exhibits in support of the filing that included Lin’s plans to depose the following list of witnesses:

Plaintiff, Christopher J. Cordova

Joshua Abrams, an associate of the Plaintiff who appears to have encouraged the Plaintiff to file DMCA notices.

Theresa Neal, Plaintiff’s ex-girlfriend that was actively involved in the Plaintiff’s YouTube channel, and may have evidence on ownership and authorship of the Plaintiff’s videos.

Plaintiff’s Mother, whose name Defendants will obtain at a later time, and was the person that managed Plaintiff’s YouTube channel when he was in jail or custody.

Johnny Bravo, owner/operator of the YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/@johnnybravo303), a previous associate of the Plaintiff.

@MexicanLongHair, owner/operator of the YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/mexicanlonghair, a previous associate of the Plaintiff.

Reagan Benson, owner/operator of the YouTube Channel at http://youtube.com/@ReganBenson, a previous associate of the Plaintiff.

The declaration and exhibits also includes the entire transcript of Cordova’s 2023 sentencing for crimes related to a 2022 incident at a Social Security Administration building and copies of attorney Newman’s other Canada related lawsuits.

A separate declaration by Hudon-Huneault includes partial records of his wife’s pregnancy and video snippets of Cordova allegedly stating that he had planned to bury Hudon-Huneault in court costs.

Observers note that the filing calls into question the seriousness of Lin and Hudon-Huneault’s previous stance on court mandated settlement talks. The filings appear to indicate that the defendants have no intention of settling the case, and, instead, shows that they are prepared to take the lawsuit to trial.

There have been no statements or comments by Cordova or attorney Newman in response to the filing as a of press time.

The filing had no impact on Hudon-Huneault’s on-going GoFundMe campaign, which won Tuesday with a $20.00 donation. That same campaign lost $5.00 due to conversion rate changes on Wednesday.

SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” won Wednesday with a $20.00 donation to his Detained for MY Rights – Continuing the Fight for OUR Rights fund and a $10.00 donation to his Support the Fight Against Tyranny & Corruption! Campaign.

No other campaigns that we follow saw new donations for either day.
