YouTuber Christopher “Denver Metro Audits” Cordova returned to cop watching Monday morning on his Denver Metro Audits 2.0 channel, live streaming a traffic stop in Littleton, Colorado.
Cordova is now streaming on his 2.0 channel after effectively declaring his original Denver Metro Audits channel dead as it was “shadow banned” by YouTube and he will no longer support it with new content.
The channel was supposedly “shadow banned” after receiving a content strike last year for displaying nudity in a video devoted to Denver’s “Go Topless Day” 2024 event. Cordova was heavily criticized for showing nudity without the permission of those he was filming, claiming it was a public event and that he did not need their permission to display nudity.
Cordova had previously reported that his content strike had been removed in early January of 2025 and that the “shadow ban” was seemingly over.
When that claim did not hold true, the Youtuber turned his focus to his 2.0 channel. Cordova has amassed over 11,000 subscribers on the new channel (compared to 226,000 subscribers on his old channel), in a short period of time and is now confidently doing livestreams exclusively on the 2.0 channel.
As far as Monday’s cop watching went, it was somewhat of a dud, offering little to no controversy.
A Littleton police officer had a compact car pulled over with two black men in the front seat. Cordova was engaged by the officer, who asked him to “do him a favor” and stay away from the traffic stop.
Cordova refused “the favor” but said he would not “physically interfere” in the traffic stop. He then approached the men in the vehicle as the officer went to his own vehicle, telling them that things would be okay and that he was filming them “for their protection.”
The officer returned and told Cordova that the men were pulled over for an expired license plate and that both men did not have valid driver’s licenses.
This statement gave Cordova the chance to go into an extended lecture about how he believed that Americans were paying over half of their yearly earnings to the government through taxes and administrative fees.
He went on to expound on his beliefs that Americans were more free under British rule and all the years of government had eaten away at the basic rights of Americans.
Cordova eventually changed subjects and claimed that he had lists of all of the police policies from all of the police forces in the Denver area. While he didn’t have Littleton’s on hand, he made it clear that he was outraged that so many Denver police officers do not abide be the “must keep in shape” rule.
A second police vehicle would arrive at the scene and the car would be towed. Neither of the men were arrested at the scene. Cordova obtained the first officer’s business card, giving the officer credit for “not being a dick” and explained he didn’t seek one from the second officer as no contact was made between them.
Cordova then announced that his distinctive pickup truck made him “famous” in the area as he backtracked to the parking lot where he parked the vehicle. He claimed he needed to keep the stream going until he was sure that police would not retaliate against him with an arrest before ending the stream.
Contrary to initial reports, Cordova is allowed to cop watch and perform audits while on Federal probation for an conviction for an arrest at a Social Security office in 2022. Cordova indicated that he had not recently audited as he had a backlog of audits to put up and said he’d return to full time auditing once he worked through the backlog.
