A routine traffic stop put a scare into Denver area First Amendment auditor and slow motion “Rerun” impersonator Christopher “Denver Metro Audits” Cordova on Thursday as the YouTuber had a minor meltdown while waiting for news on if there was a new warrant for his arrest.

Cordova was pulled over in Littleton, Colorado, and started his stream for his own protection as he said that the officer who had pulled him over was standing behind his truck “just staring at him.”

When the officer eventually approached the car window, the pair exchanged stories as the officer said he had waited for Cordova to roll down his window and respond to his presence and Cordova said he was unclear of what the officer initially wanted so he did not react for his own safety.

The men also differed in their accounts of what happened to cause the pull over. Both agreed that Cordova had made a turn into traffic, with Cordova insisting that he had a green arrow when he went through the intersection.

According to the officer, Cordova was the last car in a series of cars trying to get through left hand turn on a green flashing light. When Cordova went through, according to the officer, the light had switched from yellow to red.

Cordova claimed that he had dashcam footage of the incident, but as the officer left to write up his ticket, he admitted that he had no real memory of what had happened. He also claimed that his post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from being in jail last year was flaring and that he was worried about the possibility of having a new warrant for his arrest.

Because Cordova’s insurance information was on the same phone he was livestreaming on, he was unable to give the information to the officer. He had said that he would just take a ticket for not presenting his insurance and then he would later show that he had insurance.

While he was waiting, he also revealed that he had filed for early termination of his probation from a conviction in a 2022 incident where he was arrested for filming at a Social Security Administration building. He seemed confident that this request would be granted.

Growing more paranoid as the wait extended, Cordova pleaded with his audience to call YouTuber Regan Benson should he get arrested for any reason when the police officer returned. He also bragged that he had purposely parked on private property so police would be unable to tow his vehicle.

When the officer returned, the officer showed that Cordova had nothing to worry about. He politely gave Cordova a ticket for running the red light and a ticket for not presenting his insurance along with his card.

After the officer left, Cordova went into a small rant that he was the victim of “predatory policing” in the incident and that he had done nothing to harm anyone. He compared the police officer to a man in a ski mask robbing him, as the police, in his view, were nothing more than “road pirates.”

While he admitted there was a need for police in some instances, he claimed that the enforcement of traffic laws was just a money-making opportunity for the police and there were better things police could do to make money.

Cordova ended the stream with a shout out to Christopher “Direct D” Ruff, who he said was doing excellent work with his recent streams.
