Wednesday’s update to the whacky world of Jose “Chille” DeCastro saw the diminutive YouTuber make more last-minute filings before his scheduled court hearing his California Superior Court lawsuit against Kate Peter, Michael “Blue Bacon” Pierattini, Daniel Clement and Team Skeptic.
Two documents were listed in the queue for the Superior Court’s website indicating that DeCastro at least attempted to refute Pierattini’s attorney’s protesting of DeCastro’s attempt to have the lawsuit dismissed at the eleventh hour.
The fact that DeCastro filed anything and at least attempted to defend his motion was news to observers used to DeCastro’s apparent choice to take himself out of actively participating in the lawsuit was a surprise to casual observers.
Those observers were then disappointed as those filings were unavailable for purchase from the Court’s website as of the early morning hours on Thursday. Also still unavailable were the Court Clerk’s minute notes from the scheduled hearing on Wednesday.
We will continue to monitor the site for DeCastro’s filings and the minute notes.
In other DeCastro news, he again was delinquent in his promise to create a GoFundMe account for friend Craig Hendry, who is in desperate need of $12,000.00 for bond money as he’s facing felony charges in Sullivan County, Indiana.
Hendry, who has complained about DeCastro refusing to take his calls, may have good reason to worry as DeCastro seems preoccupied by his own legal maneuvering to help out one of his self-described best friends in the world.
The Friends of jailed YouTuber Lane Myers are at the opposite end of the spectrum as YouTubers such as Josh “This is a Public Service” Gray and John Filax have been filling in for him on the platform as he was unable to obtain release from jail on Monday.
With their superstar YouTuber locked up, they struggle to maintain momentum in defending their idol as their desired world-shaking movement in his defense has proven anything but. Facing dwindling crowds and few contributions to Myers’ legal defense fund, reality may be setting in for the group as the attention of the general public seems to be elsewhere.
The market itself saw activity related to both Henry and Myers on Tuesday. Tuesday’s take saw $50.00 go to Lane Myers’ GiveSendGo campaign and $25.00 go to Craig Hendry’s generic “To Support Craig’s Work” GoFundMe campaign.
Wednesday then saw a return to goose eggs as the market apparently took a nap for the mid-week as no one was actively promoting campaigns.
JOURNALISM IN CRISIS
Both ReallyCoolSite.org’s daily newspaper and our daily newscasts are funded by your continuing donations and what we make from our YouTube AdSense revenue each month.
If you’d like to contribute to help us keep the lights on, eating, keeping the cats fed and writing new stories to feature on both the newspaper and newscast each day, we do have a GoFundMe set up at: https://gofund.me/76d87459
As real American and true protector of the first amendment Lane Myers has made multiple threats to sue us in recent days, portions of all donations may also go towards fighting any possible future lawsuits.
If you can’t afford to contribute, please watch our entire videos, like, share, subscribe and comment. You CAN help by doing next to nothing and we thank you in advance for pitching in!

I hope Bacon comes after Silly Chilly for the costs incurred with defending this case.
