More controversy erupted Wednesday night as Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s planned fundraiser for Jeremiah Payne failed to materialize, and Payne himself failed to address the on-going controversy on his own Wednesday night livestream.
Jose “Chille” DeCastro announced that he was holding a livestream fundraiser for Jeremiah Payne “from Kentucky” later in the night as he livestreamed from Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles Wednesday night.
DeCastro explained that Payne had an outstanding fine from Kentucky that turned into a warrant for lack of payment. When approached by Payne, DeCastro gave several differing statements implying that he immediately gave Payne the money to pay the fine as it was “just $500.00.”
The YouTuber explained that he had forgiven Payne for harsh words Payne had made towards him over the past two years as DeCastro had refused to help Payne’s fundraising efforts for other causes, including paying rent that was due and other fines from various outstanding charges against Payne.
DeCastro’s fundraising efforts were instrumental in freeing both Payne and his wife Samantha from jail back in 2023 when they were picked up for outstanding warrants while on a livestream. The men had a falling out after the fundraiser with DeCastro refusing to help Payne in the year following the incident.
Payne himself again courted controversy Wednesday night as he seemed unaware of DeCastro’s planned fundraiser and made no mention of his recent fundraising efforts to pay the same fine. The Tennessee based YouTuber had livestreamed for most of the weekend, begging for $600.00 to pay the fine or else he would face 280 days in jail.
When Monday came without resolution, Payne scrubbed his YouTube channels of nearly all mentions of the fundraising campaign and has yet to explain how he avoided jail time or how the money for the fine was ultimately found.
DeCastro himself seemed to have no grasp on the events, calling Payne a man from “Kentucky,” when Payne has resided in Tennessee for nearly the past year. DeCastro was also distracted as he was conducting “man on the street interviews” in partnership with Brian “Here’s the Deal” Young at the time of his livestream.
Both DeCastro and Young were asking people in the area about their knowledge of the constitution and the bill of rights. At one-point DeCastro needed to avoid a large homeless man dressed in shorts and a suit jacket who angrily demanded money from him.
After the scare, DeCastro regrouped with Young and prematurely ended his livestream. As noted, DeCastro failed to return for his promised livestream fundraiser for Payne later in the evening.
Payne himself was not fundraising Wednesday night and did not mention his GoFundMe or cash applications. Payne’s GoFundMe fund saw no donations for Wednesday as the market itself saw goose eggs across the board with no new donations taken in for any of the campaigns we follow.
WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP!
Despite the GoFundMe Market being dead, this publication is funded by your donations along with what little we make from our YouTube channel per month. While we did achieve “full monetization” on YouTube we still need help to get through monthly expenses and keeping the lights on to bring you the paper and the newscast each day.
If you can afford it, please consider donating to the GoFundMe run by this very channel (https://gofund.me/76d87459). All donations literally go to keeping the lights on, eating, and writing new stories to feature here and on reallycoolsite.org. If you can’t afford to contribute, please WATCH THE ADVERTISEMENTS on our videos, like, share, subscribe and comment. You CAN help by doing next to nothing and we thank you in advance for pitching in!
