Describing himself as “unshaven and unclean” Jose “Chille” DeCastro greeted his viewers Thursday night after claiming that he had spent the last eight hours writing a new version of his lawsuit against former Justice of the Peace Ann Zimmerman, who convicted him of charges of obstructing an officer and interfering in a crime scene in 2024.

DeCastro advertised the livestream as a fundraising event to raise the $5,000.00 he claimed he needed for paralegal and AI costs involved in the lawsuit. He set up a new GoFundMe on Tuesday and asked his fans at the start of the livestream to not send donations through super chats and to instead focus on his new GoFundMe.

The YouTuber could not figure out how to post the link to the GoFundMe from his vertical livestream, which hampered efforts to fundraise. This proved problematic during the livestream, as several hundred dollars went to super chats which DeCastro won’t receive until his June payment from YouTube.

Eventually, DeCastro revealed that $4,000.00 of the money he sought from his GoFundMe campaign would be going to a “WestLaw AI” subscription. DeCastro admitted that all of his current lawsuits were generated through AI and that he needed to switch to AI via WestLaw to get around the growing bans of the use of ChatGPT in court.

Before the livestream started, DeCastro released a copy of the new lawsuit to his website. It was not its final form and DeCastro stated that he would be filing the actual suit on Wednesday when he would “go hard” for donations to his GoFundMe campaign as he needed the $500.00 to file his lawsuit.

He also warned that he’s added John Doe defendants to the case and responded to fan WassamattaU in his side chat’s question of “that lawyer, & Barry Cooper, & frauditor troll?” with an affirmation that he may seek defamation charges against those individuals.

DeCastro warned everyone that he would be going after various people who he says defamed him before the statute of limitations ran out and that he had sworn affidavits from people who would testify that the subjects of his lawsuits knowingly made up and reported falsehoods against him.

Singling out the Las Vegas Review Journal, DeCastro promised that he would be protesting in front of their building on Wednesday. He then claimed that the news outlet defamed him last year when reporting on his incarceration and implied that they may be included in a future defamation lawsuit.

DeCastro is seeking over $69,000,000.00 in damages in the new lawsuit and has named Judge Ann Zimmerman, who convicted him, Judge Michelle Leavitt, who overturned the conviction, in the lawsuit. While it is nearly impossible to sue a sitting judge, DeCastro has claimed that he has used AI to draft his documents to find ways around their judicial immunity.

DeCastro breaks down his demand for compensation as follows:

Compensatory damages in the amount of $29,000,000, broken down as follows:
a. $700,000 in direct lost income over a 14-month period;
b. $5,000,000 for reputational harm, lost goodwill, and permanent brand damage;
c. $8,000,000 for emotional distress, psychological trauma, and loss of familial companionship;
d. $1,000,000 for business disruption and customer abandonment;
e. $5,300,000 for loss of future earning potential across digital platforms, livestreams, and public engagements;
f. $10,000,000 for Fourth Amendment violations, unlawful incarceration, and deprivation of liberty;

Monell damages in the amount of $20,000,000 for Clark County’s systemic failure to supervise, train, and correct constitutional violations committed by its judiciary, bailiffs, and prosecutors;

Punitive damages against Defendants Zimmerman, Botelho, and Leavitt for malicious, retaliatory, and constitutionally shocking conduct;

Punitive and compensatory damages against Officer Branden Bourque for knowingly providing false testimony and fabricating evidence during Plaintiff’s trial;

Damages against courtroom bailiffs for violating Plaintiff’s First Amendment right to assemble, interfering with his pretrial conference with supporters, and prejudicing the presiding judge before trial;

While DeCastro GoFundMe was not active for Monday, the day was won by DeCastro associate Craig Hendry, with a $14.00 donation to his To Support craig’s Work campaign. No other campaigns received donations for the day.

Tuesday was a different story as DeCastro’s GoFundMe placed second for the day. Our own Ongoing Expenses fund took in $370.00 to take the day. DeCastro’s new Time to Sue the corrupt Unprincipled Judge Ann Zimmerman campaign came in second with a $160.00 take. Lane Myers’ Legal Defense GiveSendGo campaign came in third with a $120.00 take and Clash with Bao’s legal representation campaign finished last with a $15.00 donation.

DeCastro pledged that he would get “going hard” for donations in livestreams on Wednesday.

This is a breaking news story.
