The dominance of goose eggs over the market grounds for the past three days came to an end on Sunday with a single donation to SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes’ generic Support the Fight Against Tyranny & Corruption fund, which took in $25.00 for the day. Reyes then made headlines from coverage of Reyes allegedly violating a court order and airing a deposition video from a recently dismissed lawsuit against the city of Berwyn, Illinois.

According to Reyes and YouTuber Marc Stout in separate videos released over the weekend, in November of 2021, Reyes was arrested for disorderly conduct as he attempted to film within the Berwyn, Illinois, City Hall. The charge of disorderly conduct was eventually stricken with leave to reinstate in 2022.
Reyes sued the arresting officers, the city administrator and the city itself for compensation, claiming that the officers lacked probable cause to arrest him and that his fourth amendment rights were violated.
The case itself was dismissed after it did not survive a motion for summary judgment in January of this year. The judge singled out the fact that Reyes’ argument was based on videos he submitted but had edited first, which could not be used in court.
His other charges were thrown out as the judge essentially found that the officers had probable cause to arrest Reyes, and even if they did not, the arrest would be covered under qualified immunity.
As part of the discovery process, Reyes was allowed to record the depositions of the defendants, but was ordered not to share the video as the video could only be used as part of the court proceedings.
On February 4, 2025, weeks after the case was dismissed, Reyes released a reaction video of City Administrator Ruth Sabia-Green’s deposition. This resulted in an immediate call for the removal of the video by the defense, along with a call for the Judge to impose sanctions on Reyes. The Judge ordered Reyes to immediately remove the video and has yet to rule on sanctions.
On Reyes’ most recent video covering the case, he blamed his now former attorney, Gregory E. Kulis, for giving him the impression he had the okay to release the video. Kulis filed paperwork removing himself from the case on February 5, 2025, stating that he could no longer work with Reyes.
During the same video, Reyes defended an anonymous negative voicemail left for Sabia-Green after he released his video of the deposition that stated, “You are lying, fat count, you are a liar and you are ####### hunt.” Reyes indicated that while the statement was repugnant, the caller had the first amendment right to say what he or she did in the call.
The text of a second call to Sabia-Green, from Constance Hunter, a frequent critic of Sabia-Green’s and follower of Reyes, was also released by Reyes.
“Hello. I am calling because I am a traveling photojournalist. I mainly cover sports events, but I am going to be coming gre the city in the next couple of days and I was trying to see if I would be able to record in the city hall, um, you know, just trying to see if that would be okay. I do not want anybody freaking out or anything like that. If you could call me back at (redacted). That would be greatly appreciated. My name is Savion Hunter, thank you.”
Reyes demanded in his new video that sanctions be placed upon the defense for misrepresenting that call as a threat. He also announced that he was seeking a new attorney to represent him in appealing both the dismissal of the lawsuit and the judge’s takedown ruling.
