The at one point almost-unstoppable Craig Hendry string of wins came to an end on Friday as a lack of communication from the Hendry camp and little promotion outside of the Hendry-sphere brought the juggernaut of a campaign to an almost dead stop.
Hendry’s “To Support Craig’s Work” fund took in $30 over Thursday and Friday to take second place for the two-day period. It was dwarfed by a single surprise anonymous donation to our Ongoing Expenses campaign that took Friday with a $1,000.00 donation.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, a GoFundMe campaign is only worth the amount of promotion you put into it. Tomorrow we’ll look at the campaigns we follow and provide reasoning behind why most of them are failing to bring in any donations in recent days.
As far as our big donation is concerned, we were stunned and thankful to see it. It’s been a difficult year and the outpouring of goodwill from all of you has been staggering. We will be investing it right back into the channel.
The goal is to renew our domain and hosting for the year early, then take advantage of year end “lifetime” sales to get rid of some of our on-going expenses. We’re finally starting to make a little bit of money off of our YouTube channel that we can reinvest back into the channel and slowly but slowly we’re growing our presence and our revenue.
We still can’t make it without you at this point, so again, we’re forever in your debt for the help you bring to our (and the truckload of animals) lives. We absolutely are blessed by your giving, so thank you so much.
Again, our goal for next year is to get to the point where we can be self-sufficient and still bring you the news 5-7 days a week. While supplies last.
