YouTube legend GloberMom’s husband released a video short on her YouTube channel on Friday confirming that she had passed away from cancer earlier in the day.
GloberMom’s diagnosis and treatment came quickly, with just two months between her reporting having seizures to brain surgery, to her passing. She documented her health struggles on her YouTube community page posting:

To those following my health vlog. This week started out badly and has continued to go badly. I had two seizures on Sunday, the second was so bad it landed me in the hospital. Since then, I have had a seizure every 8 to 12 hours. On steroids and will be taking a second medication to get the under control. I can tell you I am terrified about being left by myself right now. My family has stayed home with me but they have to go back to work tomorrow. It will work out. I generally sleep til my daughter comes home for lunch, and my son is home after.

Hi everyone. Still stuck in bed having multiple seizures a day. They have lessened in severity, though. The doctor has upped my second seizure medication, and my dosage of steroids is almost over. Still no word on the status of my biopsy surgery, which pisses me off. I have called on that to see what is going on with it. Hopefully, will hear soon. Until then, my life as a cat continues.

It’s surgery week. Just had my preop appointment, you know what to expect when I’m in the hospital. It looks like I’ll be in the hospital for at least 4 or 5 days. My family will be taking time off to help me for about 2 weeks. We got a rail so I can get in-and-out of bed easily and more pillows to lean against. Surgery time is set for 7:15 am. I am nervous because they’re opening up my skull but relieved at the same time because we can get treatment done for this. Though we won’t know what it is for at least 2 weeks because the pathology has to come in. And, I may even have to go through physical therapy because my right hand is not working. All I care about is there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Love you all for your support.

So my oncology came back. I do indeed have cancer. I can’t really tell you what kind because the whole time because the doctor was talking, my brain left my body. It looks like I will need treatment for at least 6 weeks. Then a break and monitoring. Then, more treatment for 6 weeks. The oncologist is hopeful that this will be gone
Throughout her treatment, she was true to herself, still going after flat earthers and speaking her mind on her YouTube community page.
GloberMom was best known for her “What the Hell, Karen???” series of YouTube videos, in which she humorously called out Karens from across the world. She also famously stood up to bullying by Jose “Chille” DeCastro in 2022 that saw the YouTuber dox both herself and members of her family.
DeCastro was angered by other YouTubers using his videos and had viciously gone after channels with copyright strikes and tentatively naming them as part of his copyright lawsuit against Google, Kate Peter and Josh Abrams.
After doxing GloberMom, DeCastro suffered a backlash and a suspension from both his YouTube and Twitter/X accounts, but he did not silence GloberMom. Ultimately, she stood firm and will be known in the community forever for her undying strength in standing up to bullying.
