YouTuber Ron of Guerrilla Publishing announced on his Friday night live stream that auditing superstar James “James Freeman” Springer would be headlining the “Lexington Takeover” gathering sext for Lexington, Mississippi, next week.
The “takeover” is set for October 14 to October 16, 2024, and participants are expected to be at the Holmes County Court House in Lexington at 9AM starting on the 14th to protest Ron’s arrest earlier in the month for recording inside a police department in Lexington.
Ron claimed to be investigating the Lexington police force after learning that the Justice Department was investigating it for unlawful cash bail practices, unlawful arrest, wrongful use of a taser and other charges. He asserts that he had been unlawfully arrested by Lexington police and promised further action.
Stating that he should have known that the police force would stoop to unlawful arrest after seeing a Lackluster video of an attorney being arrested for filming at the same police station, Ron said he was not discouraged by possible future action against him at next week’s protests.
The YouTuber announced that he had received a $500.00 donation from a supporter that will cover the cost of staying at a campground for the week and the costs of driving to Lexington in his diesel-powered camper, which he claims gets 8 miles per gallon.
James Freeman will be the guest of honor at the three-day gathering, as Josh “Accountability for All” Abrams declined due to family issues. All super chat and PayPal donations to Ron’s accounts will go to Freeman’s expenses traveling from New Mexico to Mississippi in his van.
If successful, this would be the second mass gathering of first amendment auditors this year after a similar one-day takeover of Union City, New Jersey, earlier this in support of Leonard “Leroy Truth” Filipowski. Other than Ron from Guerrilla Publishing and Freeman, no other guests have been confirmed for the three-day protest.
No mention was made of DeleteLawZ Jose “Chille” DeCastro, who has proclaimed himself the leader of all First Amendment auditors, nor “National Secretary of Auditing” Audit Them as possible attendees.
Ron scoffed at critics who said that only people with “balls” go to jail, and assured his followers that he will always attempt to talk his way out of possible arrests. He continued to state that an arrest doesn’t prove anything for the cause and in most cases is just a waste of time.
He reminded his followers that everyone is supposed to be at the Holmes County Court House in Lexington at 9AM on Monday for the start of the protest before ending his live stream.
